Man .. he is in an another level .. he ain't the same pattinson anymore ..his most recent work prove that " the lighthouse" 🔥 I wont be surprised .. after some years or 2 he gets an oscar..👍 he is very picky in choosing roles .. and has been nailing every roles he gets

@@eps3154 He's literally a master of accents. He's done 4 distinct New York accents alone. He's so specific, for Cosmopolis, he crafted his accent to sound like the neighborhood the author, Don DeLilo came from. He's a perfectionist.

I literally thought he was from queens in real life when i saw the movie lmao. I know people that talk exactly like him he nailed the new york accent, the guy who plays the drug dealer character also nails it.

Good time changed everyone's mind about him. And all his other indie movies

He's actually not hoping for an Oscar. He didn't even become a member of the Academy until this year. He grew up watching the Cannes Film Festival Palm d'Or awards, not the oscars.

He should have been nominated for GOOD TIME,. He was invited on all The Talk Snows for his performance. His acting was amazing & he was almost unrecognizable.. He is such a good looking actor, but he is open to playing dirty, grimey characters like like ROVER, THE LIGHTHOUSE & LOST CITY OF Z

i am really hoping they go in the direction of the movie Seven. make it more of a movie about the dark knights detective skills. they’ve never really gone down that avenue in the movies

He made a ton of money on those movies the financial success of those movies allowed him to stay away from mainstream projects for a while not often do young actors get such success as he did if I was him I'd have done those movies for that paycheck

He nearly got fired from Twilight for trying to do more with the character than was in the script. So he had to play it exactly how it was and he did a really good job. He despised Cullen and Cullen despised himself so job done.

Eh, that’s a bit of a stretch. British actors are generally better than American actors, but they don’t always nail American accents to where it sounds natural. Emma Watson, for example, does a terrible American accent. It is SO forced and her British accent slips through a lot. Daniel Radcliffe is better, but you can still tell it’s forced. Even complete legends like John Hurt couldn’t perfectly nail an American accent, and he’s my favorite actor of all time (see the 2008 film Recount, his British accent slips through all over the place, unfortunately). Robert’s standard American accent is dang near perfect, and I can say that as an American. It sounds so natural and not like a British person trying to hide their accent. His Southern American accents (Rover, Devil All The Time) are dang near perfect, too. I was born and raised in the South, and his accent in Rover and Devil All The Time legit sound like a lot of people I grew up with. In fact, there was a guy I went to high school with who was a little bit “slow” and was held back in ninth grade, and he had the look, mannerisms, and accent EXACTLY like his part in The Rover. We’re talking all the way down to the buzzcut, the baggy t-shirts, the tics, and the thick Southern drawl, it was so accurate. When I saw that film, his character straight up reminded me of that guy I went to high school with. His creepy Southern preacher in Devil sounded like a lot of older adults that went to my church when I was a kid/teen. Both were spot on.

It didn’t sound fake or forced like a lot of actors who try to speak in Southern accents. You can tell those actors had a dialect coach and speak with a more “theatrical” version of a Southern accent instead of the real deal. Robert’s doing the real deal. Same with The Rover. He legit looked and sounded like a guy I went to high school with in that role.
