Russian oil and gas are located in Siberia, transported for thousands of miles. Tundra and permafrost are unstable and must be continually monitored and repaired. Frozen liquid expands--this winter will cause problems.

"Frozen liquid expands" - no, it does not. SOME does - water. Water is in fact UNUSUAL in that it expands. Anything else that expands is either liquid metal (high temperature) or Acetic Acid. Oil does NOT.

India is part of BRICS, therefore it's not a wise move for any Western nation to build factories there if they are dollar centric.

But not wholly as there is still a long term growth story and Companies should come and further diversify their portfolio across all types of product lines. An example, global south is somewhat 65% of whole world population (barring China which it counts itself in global south but that’s not true). Some 4 Indian two wheeler companies who manufactured 90% to Japanese quality 2w and significantly better quality than Chinese 2w makers at a little higher cost completely made 200 Chinese 2w companies to shutdown operations in Africa and effectively replaced Japanese 2w. That’s quite a story. It’s not necessary that one should invest only in those countries where they can get to manufacture goods at cheaper cost and export them to western countries.
