If private companies are getting a lot of profit, the central govt is taxing them then we are getting our share right. How is it not beneficial for us, the public? Hi, the sources are empty as of writing this comment. I want to know more on this matter, including if certain agreements were made between the two countries when this purchase skyrocketed. This is a new perspective I learned about the matter, so thanks for making the video. P.S. it is not true that the west didn’t buy Russian Oil. Germany was by far the biggest importer during the Ukraine war and their joint venture with Russia to build a new pipeline through the Ocean is still being funded by the German taxes. Most of the sanctions were not on things imported from Russia but the ones exported to Russia.

Kidhar se itna gyan le kar aata hai? So as per you, Germany is still funding pipeline. One pipeline Nord Stream 2 was sabotaged before being used. The earlier pipeline was funded in the past. There was a Russian company Gazprom also present in Germany before war started. The Gazprom funded the pipeline along with several European countries. You didn't kept eye if Germany was still importing oil and gas from Russia? So answer is no, it is 0% import from Russia who was giving 60% gas to Germany before the war. This video is damn dismissive about sanctions of west. Just show one picture of the village of Ukraine and dismiss the sanctions. Hamko kya karne ka, west gaya bhaad mein - yeh attitude hai. And Ukraine war is still ongoing.

It Helped the Indian State, Saving of Billions of USD while Importing and selling it to Europe after Value Addition to push exports up and bring in more USD/Euro. The profit might directly might not have been passed onto to Population but the extra money is still money which would be re invested in the economy to create value, Now Russia has INR which they dont have much options with except investing in India. Net Net Beneficial For India.

When i go to jamnagar for personal work, I found nayara energy , after few months i found rapid growth of nayara petrol pumps in Gujarat. Then i thought who is owner of nayara energy because small entity never come in crude market so easily. Then i found in wikipedia that it is back by russia. It is listed compony but almost 98% share holds by Russians. So , I am agree with your research.

Great video!!! As mentioned that these companies gained massive profit was a very good point and was a really bad bad thing that happened. ... But the point that India didn't profit and that prices stayed high (yeah they increased) but if you compare price increases btw us and west there was a big visible difference.... Even lot of products that need pertoleum product to produce only faced around the same inc as inflation. ... Also product shipping outside India was inevitable as India is free economy and companies will sell where they get more profit and this was a big reason that the prices kept rising. .... The ministers like they said keeping prices low in India should have taxed exports more in this case or partial bans like happening for rice rn.

Also I would like to add one more point .. west also used india to allow it to buy Russian oil to stabilise international crude oil price.. if there would have been blanket bann on Russian oil, OPEC and Middle East countries might have raised price to $150 per barrel . So EU used India for stabilising crude oil pricing as “oil laundering” nation. India didn’t get anything in return infact india got the label of “funding war in Ukraine”. S. Jaishankar who thinks himself as smart is just loud mouth in better English. Reliance got benefitted and public got zero benefit.

Three first thing I noticed was, "arey kitna dubla ho gaya yaar". Take care, get well soon. Secondly, vox made a similar video much earlier explaining how Russian oil is bypassing sanctions and how the West is still purchasing it, even awarded India the title of "laundromat". But, that was more western centric. Your video has the Indian pov. Sadly it should've come out a lot earlier, now people don't care. 😢 so many Indian channels have taken to jingoism and made exorbitant claims and market predictions. 🤦‍♂️ However, I don't think we did incurred any losses. It was a "no-crisis-hit-us" situation (gold standard for Indian business). The merit of our handling of the situation was in not ending in tragedy.

Great video! But i have basic argument after ukraine war price of oil skyrocketed leading to inflation and collapse of many economies in south asia but it was because of cheap russian oil that india never had skyrocketed inflation which is why our economy was the most stable one . Every country has to think of its own citizens first then about the world . Does the killing of civilians directly affect indian citizens no right ? But inflation due to Russia-ukraine war directly affect indians leading to more and more people back to poverty which is bad for our country. Also india and ukraine never had strategic relationship but russia and india do have strategic partnership . CONCLUSION : condemn whats wrong but do what is best for your citizens which our government is really well doing . Even opposition is alligned with governments policy towards russia-ukraine war

The government do this because the losses that are caused to the government directly or indirectly, they recover it from the margin money of petrol prices... In a way we can say that the government never pays for the Indian population deeds from its own pocket. This is how the capital deficit is balanced... It's broad daylight loot and is done by every government be it BJP or Congress... Even after the Scams worth thousands of lakhs of crores in India, there is a lot of money in India, only the middle class is poor....

For the indian benefits.... I would like to add the stability if oil prices in India for a year now... because the major problem of India is it's instability in politics and prices. But it wasn't pleasing to see all the profits made my corporation and Russia for themselves.
