It is not that Nepalis actually hate Indians. But there is a bit of bitterness in the behavior of Nepali people for Indians. I have listed down some reason below. (1) There is a sense of jealousy among Nepalis for Indians because Indians are more sensible than Nepalis. Nepali people have a rigid mindset where as Indians are more understanding. (2) Nepal is trying to find an Identity or create an Identity of their own and for that they are playing a game. Some times they side with China and sometimes with India. (3) There is a political class in Nepal who creates and uses the anti India sentiments for their political gains. (4) In general the Nepali public is very innocent and they believe anything and everything that their politicians say without doing a fact check. (5) There have been instances when Nepali soli was used against India by Terrorist against India. It is still being used and Nepali authorities do not do anything about it. When India criticizes it Nepal don't like it. ( 6) Nepal is becoming a hub for Anti India activities and they are enjoying it by not taking any action. ( 7 ) India is discussed in Nepali Media every day with negative sentiments where as India Media doesn't discuss Nepal every day. (8) India doesn't pay much attention to Nepal on day to day basis which Nepal wants. So there is a sense in Nepal that India is ignoring it. That is also creating a sense of jealousy among Nepali people which results in Anti India rethoric to gain attention.
Apart from some incels on social media, i like indian people. However, I strongly dislike the Indian government. Similarly, a majority of Nepalese people also hold negative sentiments towards the Indian government. Unfortunately, this hatred towards the government often extends to Indian people as well, and I am truly sorry about that. Indian people are innocent, and we shouldn't shift our hate for the government to its people as we are all brothers and sisters

When u love someone u dont get jealous of them being loved by others. In between the disputes of India and China, Nepal has always suffered and nothing ever came from China's side but it was always our loving neighbour India. We are smart enough to understand that its not about love and friendship but about the benefits. So when both the countries' government is trying to play with us why shouldn't we take the benefit out of that? But everytime China helps us, India has serious issues. India leaves us alone in our difficult situation and act like they have right on us to question and stop on taking any decision. Let me tell u though the culture of terai highly match with India, those people are the most patriotic. Even today most of the ministers and power holders are from terai. But India tries to show sympathy on them and make them feel weak through rumors and create dispute in our country. And its not just about Indian goverment and media, when we hear harsh comments for Nepal and Nepalese from so called social media influencers, content creators and standup comedians and even on reality shows and movies sometimes, BRO IT HURTS. Its different when people tease on real life, no one takes it seriously even here some indians begging and selling kawaadis, panipuri are teased. But we dont take things to heart and we teach our youngers to stop it. But those Indian celebraties making fun is not cool. Nepalese hate Nepalese government and Nepalese media too so no need to be offended. Its just that both Indian government and Indian media are too dense towards sensitive things.
