17/18 Liverpool was the most exciting team I've seen in a while. They were all attack and chaos. They scored tons of goals and conceded tons as well. Never a boring game when they played

It was this very season, against Roma that he got THE injury that pretty much ended his career at LFC. Never really recovered from it. Was never the same. It's quite sad

It is only Klopp that dared to play a very proactive high pressing football against City. All coaches coaches before him: SAF, Mourinho, Ancelotti, even Wenger(though forced) constructed a deep block. After Klopp's arrival other coaches finally knew their was another way to beat City. This is from a barca/city fan. That Liverpool team scared the hell out of me each time they had the ball against city, because it was as if they could score at any given moment. That was the only team that bullied their way back into games against city. That's why I was more impressed when city won the prem despite losing against Liverpool. Never thought i would admire another team in the prem besides city at that time.

I have to disagree, I think he trusts his players too much. E.g. going out of his way to give Henderson a new contract when he was washed, not buying a new CB this year (which has proved to be the correct call, as, well, Quansah), and not buying a 6

What would be the differences that created each 90+ point season between the two. City and Liverpool swapping league titles as well as the cup games. @@kattphatthow can you compare no. of trophies in a single season, when city clearly have the financial advantage. Klopp even completed club football before Guardiola did at city. That is competitive enough at shoestring budget. To rate Klopp, name other PL managers that manage to complete trophies at a club. Sure, it is possible that Liverpool will not be able to keep the same momentum throughout a season given the increasing strength from other teams, but the intensity against big teams will always be relevant in Klopp’s team, as shown during their defender crisis on 20/21 or midfield crisis on 22/23

Henderson would have been sold if Oxlade never got injured cos we had already bought Keita. This was why I respected Henderson for not giving up. He fought hard to be part of the team but for some reason Liverpool fans believe Henderson is just as important which is so false.
