Yes it seems like that’s what everyone is trying to do sell you ebooks and courses. Then, the courses are $1k with no guarantee you’ll be able to use what you learned to get contracts. 🤦🏿♀️
I won my first Janitorial contract on my own at the State level and the officer contacted me because I was actually really low. I ended up declining the contract but It was a learning experience. You just have to try!
Congratulations Aunjerika on your contract and Kizzy. This is my 1st time on your channel. I'm finding it very interesting. I will definitely continue to follow you. I've work on government contracts, but never as the person that holds the contract.
This is so inspiring because it shows how real people who don’t have everything perfect keep trying fixing their mistakes along the way and are able to still make the contract happen! The paralysis of perfection is a real thing and I love that this podcast exists to push us to JUST DO IT.
Thank you, @KizzyParks for the opportunity and all the gems you gave. I appreciate you so much! Thank you everyone for your inspiring comments and support!
Amazing interview- Thanks Dr. Kizzy & Aunjerika! - My business partner & I attended a pre-submittal meeting today for a prominent county building. One step closer!! Being in the room matters- it builds confidence and “know how”. Submissions are due in September. We will be bidding! Best wishes to all of the #AmazingGovConWinners 😌
Sole proprietorship!! Thank you! I’m a sole proprietor and I’ve been having issues with validating my entity. But I’m waiting for my EIN confirmation letter

I’m not into contract work but I want to highlight that you are awesome with the dedication you give your group. This is empowering to use in business. I appreciate your channel. ❤
Just like how everyone started by watching this inspiring video or stories like this that helped y’all take that leap. Please help me get into this space as well.
When I tell you, this video has been living rent-free in my head since I first saw it, and now that the end of the fiscal year is over, I have to indulge myself with a long comment. Commending the entrepreneur for her unprecedented success is showcased in this video; it’s a rare feat to secure a federal contract without registration in the System for Award Management. This tale is indeed inspirational, but I gently urge viewers to approach this path with caution. The unorthodox methods that led to triumph in this scenario may not uniformly apply, highlighting the importance of due diligence and adherence to standard procedures in federal contracting. Despite the evident success here, preparing and ensuring all guidelines and requirements are met remains crucial for sustainable victory in this field. Congratulations on the achievement, and my future endeavors will be equally prosperous. 😊
Great interview. What’s for you is for you as she stated they awarded her before her registration was complete which is one of the things they emphasized. Just do it. I deactivated my Facebook temporarily to get my head into acquiring contracts as I did this when I was stationed in Saudi Arabia, abs without looking for any of this this video came up.
wow amazing!!! congrats!! Where can we get a contract as the prime to have with the sub as Aunjerika mentioned? She said she had a contract between herself and the sub. Thank you!
@KizzyParks Thank you so much!!! I've joined your FB Group after I saw this video 👍🏿 a very motivating and inspirational place to be with trying to learn about government contracting.
Hello! The issue was I didn't have my LLC paperwork to verify my LLC for Sam.gov to get my cage code. The reason was because I had another business that I hadn't paid taxes on yet so that delayed my LLC paper I needed for sam.gov. 😂 So if you have previous LLCs that you have not paid state taxes for, make sure you pay that off before creating a new one or the state will not let you create a new one 😅. Hope this helps.
@@aunjerikabI had an LLC I created in the beginning of 2022, never used it and closed out in Nov of 22. I made it and didn’t know what to do next because I didn’t have the finances to do what I initially made it for. How would I know if I owed anything? I’ve moved quite a bit but I haven’t received anything stating that I owe anything.
Unsure if reservists can bid on federal contracts. Check with legal. And watch this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zarAcNCAUgQ.htmlsi=kjSW12BpDvkwDd3o
Im very inspired by these success stories, but no one ever mentions the actual profit from any of these contracts🤷🏽♂️ What is the average profit margin? $180k contract is fabulous but if u only make $5k thats only 2%.
They never stated how much she took home minus expenses for the deal. I’m sure it’s favorable for the time and efforts spent. Otherwise, she would have declined. Just saying.
This isn't like the ppp loan u scammed with. Listen to the video, this is about how to handle legal business, u can't "scam" these kind of contracts. These aren't loans
I keep hearing a lot of you guys that have a RU-vid channel that keeps mentioning about the bid regarding government contracts. What's the purpose of doing and having a bid? Also, how can you get qualified to get a government contract?
Thank you for the amazing content as always . I have been following you for a while . Now done the basics , registered on SAM and looking at first potential opportunity to bid on. How exactly do I represent the past performance of my potential subcontractor in my proposal ? In some solicitations they asked to complete a pre qualification questionnaire which asks experience in performing the same task . Can I simply put that of my sub there ? This is my biggest issue now and would really appreciate your assistance.
So from my understand of gov contracting its only in field like trucking and bog industry things. Cuz I went to the website I see nothing the avg person can get into. Correct or im suing wrong sites?
My first proposal was for a $50M USAID contract (not grant) to administer a diversity and inclusion scholarship program in Burma. I actually got buy-in from a Clinton-endorsed activist, the president of the leading liberal arts college in Burma, Scholarship America, and several nonprofits in Burma. We didn't win, and there were eight other proposals (from what I can see now in FPDS), but I learned the process. Unfortunately, after I submitted that proposal around April of last year, I didn't pursue other opportunities. It pays to start small so you don't overwhelm yourself.
Dr.kizzy you have a course? And is she saying West Future 5 day challenge? I want to take both your courses. I have seen and heard gov contracting for years but the proposals scared me i couldn't figure it out but F it hoping you and West Future can guide me
