They are so close, and the sound difference is very minimal. I would have expected a much clearer difference in sound. I prefer the Tom Morello one better though as it looks a lot cooler, and has a slightly more intense sweep. Makes me really wonder if you did a large shootout if there are really a lot of differences lol.
Gotta say this: I've got an old MXR, sorry Dunlop GBC95 Cry-Baby from yeaaaaaaaaaaars ago who misses a feet at the bottom. But I just might buy this Tom Morello one, 'cause I like it better!
I think it's the Q factor of the Tom Morello that's different. I recommend trying the Joe Bonamassa Wah - whatever you feel about him as an artist or person it has some significant differences tot be standard which make it sound more "vintage". Think Voodoo Chile.
I will comment on the video to help the video for the algorithm. But in reality, I don't really like MOSFET distortions, Germanium is a soft wooly distortion, silicon is harsh and heavy, MOSFET is just brittle and not worth my time.
Really cool demo. I like the original wah more as it’s less high pitched. More low end. Wish the original had more sweep like morello with less high pitch tone. Check my patented fretboard invention. I added vertical scallops btw each string to pull strings over edge of FretCorner up or down. Many guitarists and bassists have pulled the high string off the fretboard so my design evolves the style for any string. Hendrix actually carved notches in the 16th fret on foxy lady Intro told by Seymour Duncan in an interview. Try the wah with my customs. Add extra flare on bends and pulloffs. It works by the FretCorner actually plucking the string to give infinite vibrato sustain as well as adding extra notes to open note pulloffs for next level rhythms. I plan to post a vid trying it soon. 🎸🎶🙌🏾
