Eduardo Roberts in Star Wars episode 1 Darth Maul was cut in half by Obi Wan but in the Clone Wars tv series they brought Maul back and gave him metal legs near the middle of season 6 I believe or end of season 5. Hope that helps even in the slightest

In Italian, "alone" is "solo", so when he says "I'm alone", he says "sono solo", which sounds as if he's both saying "I'm alone" and "I'm Solo". In the Italian dubbing, it does feel like he chose his own name, a memento of him being "solo".

Pretty sure the novels from legends already explained what happened to maul, except there was better lighting, and it had nothing to do with han solo, and han solos backstory made more sense with what we know of him from the original trilogy.

Here's the problem with Solo...we have no questions. We know Maul dies at the hands of Obi-Wan protecting Luke (Rebels). We know Han ends up with Leia, they have a child, and the child kills him. We have this random girl but who cares about her. There is no suspense or curiosity about the future.

... Except for the fact that there were clearly storm troopers near the start of the movie, and they weren't around at the same time as Darth Maul. Maul was already dead by the time they came around. Also, notice how Darth Maul never actually gets mentioned by name, AND looks really weird. Maybe, just maybe, that wasn't Darth Maul. What's to say it isn't another of his species, who found his Lightsabre?

@FRKNSPACEWIZARD!!! Brett. Maul was alive to just a few years before a New Hope. He was brought back in the Clone Wars CGI series and was in the Rebels CGI series which did have stormtroopers. Obi-Wan finally killed him on Tatooine when he threatened a young Luke

Except Han getting named by a random Empire flunky, the fact that we Knew his love interest would be gone Long before "a New Hope", the fact that the Entire story has little if Any affect on anything going forward, nothing felt like it really mattered or made sense, etc. Yep. Many good points from Geeks and Gamers and ComicArtistPro Secrets, each saying that had TLJ not happened the way it did, Solo would have easily tied them both, if not beat, at the box office. So the boycott definitely did count

This was great, but I think it would have been funny if, in reference to how they tried to have all Han's gimmicks originate from one adventure, they could have had Original Trilogy Han retelling the train heist, but every time he embellishes the details, it actively retcons what happens in Solo: Han: So yeah, we were on the train, and these cloud riders swoop in-- Luke: Didn't you fight them off? Why did you lose to them? Han: I ate a bad taco that morning and had food poisoning. Young Han: Oh I don't feel so good-- Han: Plus there was like, fifty of them-- Young Han: They're everywhere!! Han: No no no wait, did I say fifty? I meant two hundred-- Young Han: AND THEY BROUGHT THEIR GRANDKIDS. Han: And they were armed to the teeth with lasers and spikes-- Young Han: *OH PLEASE NO NOT THE LASERS AND THE SPIKES!!* Han: --You know the drill. Young Han: *_A A A A N O N O T T H E D R I I I L L ! ! !_*
