I couldnt sleep one night in 2012 and stayed up due to insomnia, around 6am as the sun was rising i listened to tha black god and from their on i discovered raider klan (curry, dece, ruben slikk etc) and knew this type of dark music was gonna go far.

It wasn’t uncommon to find Pouya, Ethelwulf (old Xavier Wulf), Denzel Curry, Bones, Nell, JGRXXN, SGP, and a ton of other artists on the same mixtapes on Datpiff. Idk if it’s there anymore, but RVIDXR KLVN 2.7.5. Greatest Hits Vol. 1 is great for anyone that wants to hear some old Klan music.

Never in my life have I seen a crowd turn up the way we did that night. We had the fucking building shaking. I miss those times man.

I remember back in high school I used to hop on to DatPiff all the time -- I had this obsession to discover all the upcoming rappers who no one knew about. Around 2012 I came across the 2.7.5 Greatest Hits on the front page and I was immediately hooked. It's fuckin crazy to look back at how stacked these guys were... I never woulda thought all these artists would be the icons they are today and how much the culture has grown since then all because of this one man right here. It's just funny and a shame how the one who has the greatest influence gets the least amount of credit...
