If I had a nickel for everytime we had a Sonic game where you can play as Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles, in a Open Area with combat abilities, finding out about the secrets of an ancient civilization called *the ancients* and Knuckles with an infinite jump glitch. I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot bt it's weird that it happened twice.
The infinite air actually can be use constantly without having to glide a bit, by press glide at the Right moment and then continue, I recommend spamming the glide button
I'd love this tech for Amy I found to be talked about. The card wheel by itself kinda sucks BUT if you constantly drift left then right you go at a really fast speed and can bump into stuff unlike the wheel in regular play.
4:50 i did a video on twitter after i found out this glitch. i least i didn't see anyone else mentioning on that place before me. I'm not sure if i was the first to find out this tho since i started playing the DLC 1 or 2 days after release, still, such weird glitch for the dev team to miss out since you literally only to the skill input as intended but without the skill unlocked.
A bit of a correction for 7:20 - We fully understand how and why Cross Slash Warping works, and we've been able to replicate it quite a bit, but it currently has no known uses in the Any% route and is extremely difficult to pull off with any degree of consistency.
Also with Tails, if you did not have the Cyclone yet, there's an other way to infinte fly, when you used the charged attack, if you run into it, it will make you jump and reset both the double jump and fly. And you can use the charged attack in the air while flying and it goes right in front of you, which you can then fly into, reseting everything.
It also gives back your boost so you can cyclone and if it accidentally let go of the boost fly and charged wrench and jump into it and you get your air boost back
I swear i am not lying but the "getting faded" thing happened to me when fighting tank and it sent me right into the ocean ngl i do think its just a bug that happens when you cross slash
As I'm writing this, there was an update to Frontiers that re-added Knuckles' original glide from the beta version that didn't have a slow startup. Now runs can have a separate category for users of the beta glide.
@DawnSRC My brother actually did cross slash warping by accident last week, and I do it all the time when fighting giganto. I hope it becomes a speedron trick for Chaos Island.
I think I did a cross slash warp myself somewhere on accident a week ago or something. I did a cross-slash on a target dummy and as the timer hit 0 I went to the other side of the island at warp speed. Great to see someone was able to record it.
I thought the Slingdash was just a dream. I only saw one person talk about it in a short and then nobody else mentioned it even though it’s arguably better than the Slingshot.

I have 2 workarounds with Knux and Tails: Try to do the infinite jump glitch with Knuckles but instead of doing the parry, just start the glide. It has a long animation before he really glides so spam the jump button and redo the fire punch thing. That can be useful since the Glide is unlocked by default so no need to buy the parry. (I know you’ve said it in your video but it works a bit differently) Tails can have an infinite jump if you hug a wall while flying, throw the wrench cyclone thingy and it’ll automatically make you a lil jump that resets your flight. That’s at least what happened with me.
With tails cyclone, you can fly so so far, not only does ouranos+ unload, that it can actually go to a kill zone and send you back to the island, even without touching the water
hopefully someone makes a mod to remove that shitty start up on knuckles glide and drill. Its amazing hes back but they really shoulda just kept the adventure smoothness
@@DawnSRC When you say "earlier Knuckles builds", are you talking about earlier builds of Frontiers DLC, or older Sonic games where Knuckles was playable?
@@ALloydRH Update 2, Knuckles was in the the game but obviously you would have to mod him in to make it work. He wasn't finished or anything but he was the most complete of the three. Maybe I can make a short about the changes?
I'm a bit surpeised Infinite Glide wasn't mentioned, may not be a speedrunner but it's pretty fun to go to a high place, then land whenever you needed to. Also had no idea Cyclone can barrel roll, neat.
