Willluft113@gmail thats what huffing inhalents will do to you. The vocal cords vibrate different when you introduce diff gases to them, hence high pitch with helium, less dense gas they can vibrate faster and vice versa with dense gases,

It was mostly the nitros oxide that has caused his voice to sound like this. He would inhale 600 cylinders of it a day.

Steve-o actually made a video about getting his vocal chords checked by a doctor, turns out it is less the nitros that made his voice like that, he's actually producing sound/vocalizing with the throat muscles above his vocal chords instead of the actual chords. I have the theory though that doing drugs that mess with your nerves and muscle tension like he did might have led to him getting used to talking this way and incorporating throat muscles. I just can't imagine his use had no influence after all.

I love listening to Steve-O talking about the Jackass days. Being roughly the same age I remember laughing my ass off at Jackass on TV and then there were the Steve-O DVDs with shit that MTV wouldn’t show, etc. So glad you cleaned up your act man, you’re an inspiration to a lot of people and entertaining as hell just talking about the crazy stuff you did.

Hands/ arms/ legs/ skateboard/ whatever you skate are totally cool to light up. Use alcohol if you ever light your skin it burns at a low temperature, don't use oil based flammable liquid on your body, and no matter what you use you need to be ready for things to go south. Be safe . None of this is is a suggestion it's just my experience with setting my hands arms and things I skated on fire.

I grew up on jackass, I use to film stuff on my mates camera and first stunt I tried was "ten bin bowling", and it was me setting up all the bins at the complex in a pin formation and trying to knock them all down by running full speed at them. The flea market he’s talkin about was dope af! It was indoor, outdoor had a circus, damn rollercoster rides. Not a huge one like at six flags but the family, kid rides you see at a fair. It was really awesome. You could spend hours there and not even buy anything it was just a really good time. Had little vendors. Remember a dude with parrots you could buy anything. Little motorcycles, to ducks. He had been gone for years when I ended up living down there.

Shit man, good old days... i remember back in 2003-4 when we were on Jackass binge watching it on Polish MTV and downloading whatever we could from Kaaza and emule, then trying some of our own stunts and pranks. I even got a camera from my dad for a 1 week school trip to mountains and Czech Republic in June 2004. That legendary 4hr footage is still stored safely in my safe but almost got stolen by a teacher who entered a room when my friends were throwing shit from a bowl from a balcony. Fortunately i managed to swap tapes before it was apprehended. Jumping from hotel balcony on the trees, doing stunts in the forest, stealing pamphlets from.some whorehouse in Prague, then handing them over to baffled citizens outside the nearby church. The getting chased around by pimps who noticed we stole them. Us getting drunk then doing some shit on the train.. man those were the days. Thank you Jackass!

That’s how the first bullet proof vest was tested. I believe it was a pizza guy that was getting shot at cause he was regularly going through a bad neighborhood, so he thought to make some armour. He didn’t have a way to test it, other than shooting himself, so he did and it worked.

Fun Fact: Brandon Dicamillo was supposed to be a part of the Jackass crew but also turned it down because he didn’t like the fact that it was going to be too commercial

He was in everything up to and including the second film, so he was part of it. It was never really a 'turn it down' situation, they didn't have a formal casting process, the final line up we think of now is just the people who ended up sticking around and gelling. Dicamillo hated travelling and didn't want to leave Westchester, so he was only ever involved in things that were shot there.
