This Thread will Address concerns that I see in the comments section Concern 1: Was Crude Conquerors to Emperors Conquerors Really A Reset? Now I’ve seen a couple comments saying they find it “hard to believe” or that they “disagree” that crude to emperors was a complete reset. Now I thought the FACTS of the case were clearly depicted in the video with the panels and the dialogue. However, being that I’m seeing these comments, let us quickly Review these FACTS that were shown: 1:The level of a Base crude conquerors clash was clearly shown in the video to not be sky splitting level or anywhere remotely close to it. 2: A Gear 4 crude conquerors clash was never shown on screen. However, luffy would've Obviously used crude conquerors gear 4 against kaido, but you'll note that we can be sure that the sky was NEVER split before chapter 1026 because in chapter 1026 momo and yamato were VISIBLY surprised by base emperors luffy and kaido clash now splitting the sky something that could never have been missed by anyone on the battlefield. 3. Also remember after kaido destroyed crude conquerors luffy who again would have obviously used gear 4 during their fight, kaido literally says that luffy’s use of conquerors was still “crude and clumsy”. Now ask yourself if gear 4 crude conquerors was shown to kaido to be “sky splitting level” something that LITERALLY defines EMPERORS LEVEL (and above) USAGE, which was again even highlighted by yamato and momo when they saw it by comparing it to roger and whitebeard, would kaido still be calling EMPEROR LEVEL gear 4 conqeurors luffy “crude and unrefined”? Hopefully you can appreciate that literally makes no sense 4: and after Luffy comes back after the loss and splits the sky at base level, Something which remember up this point we know he has NEVER been shown to be able to do by oda or even anything remotely close to it (see crude clash vs emperors clash comparison pic which was shown), after this emperors level sky splitting clash, kaido who before this was calling luffy’s use “crude and unrefined”, kaido now says to luffy that he’s “acknowledged his [luffy’s] strength” and and says he “can’t remember the last time that someone has been able to challenge him seriously” (obviously crude conquerors gear 4 wasn’t able to challenge him seriously as the new emperors luffy is doing if he’s saying that now when before he was calling luffy “crude and clumsy”) These are the facts of the case that were clearly presented by THE MANGA ITSELF. I honestly thought this was one of the least controversial point in the video, that is why I didn't go so in detail. But anyway Personal incredulity does not change these facts. So yes it was a complete reset based on the evidence presented by the manga
I was going to leave a counter argument as to whether or not Luffy could even mix his crude Conqueror’s form and gear 4 if he wanted to, as both techniques draw heavily on Luffy’s stamina and inferring that he could just do this off the bat might come across as a reach. Having thought back to Luffy getting gear 5 though, it was made pretty apparent in the manga that despite just having gotten this new gear that draws even more heavily on endurance Luffy could still stack conqueror’s on top of it, so in retrospect that would lend more credence to Luffy stacking his crude conqueror’s on gear 4. It’s still not scaling I would personally subscribe to, but I don’t have as much of an issue with the jump in power.
All excellent points I don't know how people don't realize that there was a clear increase in power and skill from Luffy after he was knocked off Onigaishima. It's either poor reading comprehension or poor short term memory. People are probably too distracted by Buggy becoming a Yonkou to remember events clearly.
@@Steinixos he was saying that but then realized how stupid that thought process is because he can use conqueror's in gear five so why wouldn't he in gear 4?
So this entire reasoning is based off the assumption luffy used gear forth off screen? Because if it is there is nothing saying he did, yes it’s mostly likely he did use gear forth but how do you know. Like would he even have enough energy to use gear fourth. Assumptions cannot be taking as fact.
You are the only one piece powerscaler that makes any sense to me, love all your videos. I have been waiting for someone to make proper sense of one piece for literal years. Keep doing what your doing, you deserve way more views, and without a doubt you'll get them
@@justtex_9141 his gear 5 big punch that beat kaido was calced at 2x10 to the 26 joules which is multi Continental and he should be in the Ligjy speed range
Now this is somebody who does their math, uses logic instead of feelings, does proper analyzing of every important statement and feat that correlates, using lowball ends of calculations so no one who wants Luffy to be as weak as he possible, can Realistically complain about the end-result, collaborating everything from Vivre card, SBS, visual clues, statements and on-screen fights, and making connections like it's a Murder-board. This is masterclass of powerscaling leaving extremely little room for debunking. Phenomenal work.
The sad part is even with all these official sources, people still say it's all hyperbole. Meanwhile, selectively scale characters from other series through guidebooks but it's forbidden to do the same. I think we can agree that none of these anime properly portray light speed, but One Piece is the only verse where people bring real life physics to downplay them. No one doubts Goku, Naruto, and Ichigo can move faster than light(Not downplaying, they can all do that obviously), but the moment a One Piece character moves faster than light, suddenly the same people who accept those other series as ftl start talking about scientific facts that only apply to our world.

Ok. To start things off I like the detail you go into in the Introduction. Finally clarifying the Hierarchy of Luffy’s moves/attacks. I always love it when you clarify attack potency because you break in down in such a simple and easy to understand manner for people who may have never heard of the concept. Thats one of the hardest things to get across in debates about One Piece because people underrate it due to it not having enough explosions for their liking. Glad you brought up the Bon Clay moment. I mentioned in in one of your previous videos but it’s something I rarely see discussed in regards to attack potency. Using Kaido as an example was brilliant as well. In regards to the Chinjao downplay I often bring up that Luffy’s jet pistol that one-shottted a pacifista did nothing to him in his old age(Chapter 708). This is more evidence of the continent being many times more durable than a pacifista due to the fact that old Chinjao was taking Pacifista shattering blows tot he skull without damage but young Chinjao with his cone dome removed struck the continent until his head was bloody and couldn’t even leave a scratch. Basically Young Chinjao’s head >>>>> old Chinjao’s head >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pacifista Steel(already many times more durable than regular steel). You also neglected to mention an extra detail in regards to the Alabasta size scaling. In real life the Nile River in Africa is only about 2-3km across. Yet is still clearly visible on a map of Africa. What makes Alabasta comparable in size or larger is the fact that their river is 30km across much bigger than the Nile yet despite being far larger still looks far smaller on the map when viewed from above. Meaning Alabasta would have to be atleast larger than Africa. Yet Alabasta is not considered a Continent in the One Piece world. Thus the Continent Chinjao broke in half would have to be significantly larger if something the size of Africa doesn’t even count as a Continent in their world. Another frequently neglected feat is The Nightmare of Baldimore(Chapter 592). Franky survives a massive mountain level mushroom cloud explosion. Now he didn’t necessarily tank it with no damage, but he still survives it. Given how easily Rob Lucci was able to handle Franky I think this supports Lucci and preskip G3 Luffy being around mountain level. It’s also a good argument for post skip Luffy’s regular jet pistols easily being mountain level since a Pacifista is >>>>>>>>> preskip Franky. Ok I have a lot of stuff I want to say about G5. I have so many thoughts on the potential of this power that I don’t even know where to begin. But to start, it’s important to stress that we DO NOT know the full capacity of Luffy’s Awakening. Thats something I see a lot of people not understanding. I know Luffy calls this his peak but that DOESN’T mean we’ve seen all of it’s applications. I know this is hard for some people to understand but just because we “saw a character fight” doesn’t mean we know or understand the full capacity of their abilities. We may get how their powers work but this doesn’t mean we’ve seen how deep their bag of tricks can really go. Like for example who here thought that Law had Awakening just from the Doflamingo fight? If we take that encounter in isolation does it give any hints of the abilities we see Law use later? NO. Which is why you shouldn’t just assume from seeing one fight that you know everything a character is capable of. Luffy JUST GOT his Awakening. He clearly hasn’t even begun to master it yet. So why on earth would anyone think we’ve seen all there is to see from the ability? I saw people assuming the same about Big Mom at multiple points in the story but as the story went on she just kept pulling out more and more tricks during her fights and surprising the readers. So don’t make the same mistake with Luffy. I guarantee theres more craziness to come from G5. Though I don’t think people understand the full implications of everything we’ve seen. I don’t think people understand the true magnitude of a power like size manipulation. I don’t think people understand that Luffy is NOT blowing air into his limbs anymore. He’s literally just expanding and increasing his mass. Those are no longer air filled fists it’s just pure massive rubber flesh. Meaning it’s ona completely different level to any previous G3 styled attack. Not to mention, we have not seen just how large Luffy can grow in G5. This is him testing out the ability and randomly trying new stuff. The size of the Bajrang Gun alone implies that Luffy himself can reach a gigantic form on that kind of scale. If he can do it with one hand he can do it with his whole body. Now think about all the abilities and techniques he can use at that size. Insanity. Theres another thing I don’t think people get the potential of and it’s Luffy apparent ability to even affect energy with his Awakening. With Kaido’s boro blast Luffy shouldn’t have been able to bounce it back according to normal physics because energy simply doesn’t work like that. This means that Luffy can manipulate both matter & energy by overwriting their physics with his own. Meaning that energy blasts can be turned into rubber and not just bounced back but he now has to capacity to do whatever he wants with them. He can take an energy beam and turn it into a balloon animal. Stretch an opponents attack like a rubber band and snap it into space. Projectile attacks of all kinds are now utterly useless against him. God forbid all the Monkey God Hanuman theories come true because then we’d have Luffy grabbing the Sun or stretching time and space. Alright thats all I wanted to say. This was another fantastic video man. You only continue to amaze me with how well detailed and well reasoned all of your videos & arguments are. Best One Piece scaler in the community bar none.
Exactly. I am glad that someone else acknowledges the implications of Luffy being able to essentially change the properties of energy based attacks. Also, you hit the nail on the coffin with the ice continent’s size. Alabasta is a part of an island and isn’t even considered a continent in the world of One Piece, meaning that the ice continent must be massive.
Very well put. I definitely saw your comment about bon clay. Thanks for bringing it to my attention And yeah luffy’s awakening comes with so many possibilities. And as he masters it in upcoming arcs like elbaf it can only get stronger. I was thinking of suggesting a baseline multiplier for Bajrang gun being that it is literally the island size of version of over kong gun. But I decided to just leave gear 5 vague for now to avoid certain pointless arguments And also yeah the bolo breath reflection is pretty wild. You are entirely correct in pointing out that it shouldn’t be possible if it were still just flames. He had to manipulate not only the ground but also the bolo breath itself.
@@Steinixos Exactly. I neglected to add that him manipulating energy is flat out confirmed when we see him bouncing off of lightning bolts like they were rubber. So thats another example to use if it ever gets brought up.
@@emperorluffy6001 Yeah I have been thinking about that for a while now. At first I was thinking it was not necessarily gear 5 manipulation of the lightning itself being that he was already able to interact with lightning from skypeia (like kicking it). But On review of the panels it does seem as if this occasion was gear 5 specific manipulation being that he was literally sinking his thumbs into the lighting as if it were rubber. So it seems clear he's was not just interacting with it but rather he changed its properties.
Great video as always! It is amazing how much you have to downplay in order to appease the skeptics and it STILL reaches Large Planet lvl. One Piece is by far the most downplayed verse, but I am glad to find someone who can properly scale everything.
Wow! Thank you for making this video! I appreciate that you started with Buggy and ended with Kaido. It made it a lot easier to see Luffy's progression in terms of physical strength. It even opened my eyes to other characters in the series.
The fact that Steinixos' power scaling during Dressrosa and Gear 4, even with the underestimations, was able to reach the Continental to Multicontinental+ range is pretty cool. It supports the fact that at that point of the story, Luffy was indeed Continental to Multicontinental+ in AP even if you excluded the Chinjao feat. The corroboration of the Chinjao feat with the calcs starting from the beginning is cool. Now if Luffy's limit for gigantification is truly insane, there is a chance that a super massive Bajrang gun could have Planetary destructive capability not only in AP. Now I'm certain Kaido could break Madara's Perfect Susano'o or the Truth Seeking Orbs. If Tsunade can crack an incomplete Susano'o with her strength and even if we gave the Perfect Susano'o a 1000x durability buff compared to the incomplete version, Kaido who is definitely superior in strength could demolish a Susano'o. Same could be said for the TSO which definitely has a higher durability considering it was the preferred defense of the 6 Paths characters. If Eight Gates Might Guy could break through TSO using Madara's body as a buffer, then Kaido with Haki could break it as well.

Rewatching this video made me appreciate it more. Not only is it thorough, it also closely tracks the manga at multiple points: 1. Luffy punching Crocodile through the bedrock created a small city-wide earthquake in Alubarna that even knocked down buildings. I think Steinixos' estimation of Luffy's town-level attack potency is in the right range (14:17). 2. Moria's shadows asgard was able to break thriller bark with its attacks. The gear 2 + gear 3 combination would have around the same potency for taking Moria down. Steinixos arrives at this island level potency independently! (30:19) 3. Same thing happens again with a lot of continent level attack potencies in the Dressrosa arc. Steinixos again arrives at something that is consistent with the manga. 4. The One Piece planet is lot bigger than earth. Whitebeard was said to be capable of destroying it. The emperors fought Whitebeard over territories as mentioned by Law. To fight on par with large planet level quake attacks, the emperors going all out must also have planet level or large planet level attack potency. Steinixos' analysis gives emperor Luffy large planet level attack potency at his max (1:11:11). This make so much sense!
If current manga Luffy punches Naruto, Naruto would die. But people think a rasenshuriken can kill Luffy since it destroys at a cellular level. If Pain can dodge it, so can Luffy, a man who can see in the future while fighting in the present with Raditz Saga Goku strength.
@@OmnipotentSaiyan i would say og dragon ball king piccolo levels of strength being GENEROUS, simply put roshi can destroy a moon in the fight with kid goku and king piccolo is stronger.
I honestly thought power was limited to destructive capacity until I realised due to this explanation how dense the power generated by Luffy is and would heavily undermine his strength to use destructive capacity as a scaling for Luffy.
The most important distinction to make when scaling One Piece powers: attack potency =/= destructive capacity. One Piece is a bunch of snipers in terms of anime power scaling. One Piece attacks don't necessarily cause major destruction, but you would make a grave mistake in thinking these attacks are easily tankable based solely on the destructive capacity. Gamers should understand: it's akin to comparing crit multiplier with AoE. One is used to clear bosses, the other is for adds.
About the advanced conqueror's haki multiplier: In chapter 969, the narrator says Oden returned to Wano many times stronger than when he left. Oden already knew Ryuo before leaving as strong samurai of wano like Hyogoro know it. But Oden did not know about conqueror's coating as he was surprised by Roger's and Whitebeard's clash. The thing that Oden learnt outside of Wano was conqueror's coating that later allowed him to scar Kaido. So we can assume advanced conqueror's haki makes you "many times stronger". It would be safe to assume a 3x multiplier for advanced conqueror's haki.
3:25 Completely agree with you. I just want to add something. They were fighting on the skull of an ancient beast (most likely a gigantic continent puller). The skull definitely has to be much more durable than the ground of Dressrosa.
@@SK8999_Y In Attack potency, yes, in Destructive capacity, no. Can Luffy actually destroy a planet? No he cant, but you can still have Planetary level AP without being able to do that. In Dragonball, if you can tank a Ki-blast that can destroy a planet, with minor damage, you have Planetary level Durability, So Luffys strongest attacks would be tankable with minor damage by a character with Planetary level Durability. Luffys strongest attack would deal the same amount of damage to a person with Planetary level durability, as a Ki blast that has the exact necessary power needed to destroy a planet.
based on my understanding on Gear 5th: 1. he is able to freely manipulate both his surroundings (as he grabs dirt to deflect blast breath), can affect living beings (seeing as he inflated inside Kaido), and freely manipulates elements maybe (so far only grabs lightning so could be biased) 2. absurd vitality and durability and can tank haki based attacks 3. achieves said form went he is truly free (whatever that means) 4. manipulate his body to absurd things (freely changes his own size, his body without the how gear 3 works (maybe)) 5. absurd no logic comes whatsoever as he is capable of running in air, and cartoon like ability gags (like eyes Poppin out) 6. affects his personality to show joy and laughter even if luck isn't on his side (truly as cheerful and shines bright like the sun)
For The Longest Time, I’ve Been Saying That Whole Cake Island Luffy Was Multicontinental At His Strongest. I Didn’t Start Spiking Luffy Higher Than That Until He Started Going Back And Forth With Kaido In Base Form, And That’s When I Said Luffy’s Base Was Multicontinental+. When I Saw Gear 5th Luffy’s Fist Become The Size Of An Island, I Just Knew Luffy Had To Be In The Moon Level Range. Seeing This Video Makes Me Feel Not So Crazy For Thinking That And I Guess That Just Goes To Show How Much Society Can Really Impact How You Feel About Certain Things. Because When I Saw That You Scaled Luffy To Small Planet Level, I Was Completely Taken Aback Lol. But I’m already seeing weird stuff in the comment section so I’ve already had to start a thread. Seems I need to to make my videos 10 hours to cover every single possible concern
@@Steinixos Sorry it took so long but I finally got to watch your video and it was amazing. Yeah I get that. It's really frustrating. Hope you enjoy my long rant. I skipped over mentioning some stuff because it was getting too long but hopefully you find my points useful regardless.
All this was so well explained and awesome you should really consider starting a shorts channel too, also I wanted to add all of this is the result of only just making gear 3 0.1 stronger than gear 2 which is absurdly low so I can not imagine gear 5 real strength
Pre-timeskip Base Luffy can destroy a Small Town in one kick. Do you know how strong Luffy has gotten since then? He can destroy a continent with a punch now. Imagine if he does a Bajrang Gatling. He could possibly destroy the planet! One Piece Earth is way bigger than a regular Earth in other anime. So he might be planet lvl if you put him in a different anime.
The ac and dc argument is a perfect example for the kid and law final attack lmao people think just because law shockwaves attack bypasses the skin and created a crater in the ground that kid and laws final attack weren’t relative laws attack is just law extending the blade with everything he has to the point where he pushes his blade all the way to the ground it’s not the actually sword destroying the floor but the shockwave hitting the floor and kid is head on concentrated attack that just attacks the body when the two attacks landed they had similar effects kid pushing bigmom all the way down to the bombs
Amazing powerscaling video as always! It's so great to see Luffy finally get the respect he deserves when being powerscaled. If I could add something regarding Gear 4's multiplier, I definitely think that the Giant Jet Shell would need to be addressed since it wouldn't make sense for Luffy to use Gear 4 assuming it's only 4x stronger than Gear 3, when Giant Jet Shell is 10x. That being said, I think that Gear 4 is more like the post-timeskip version of Giant Jet Shell's Gear 2/3 combo, with extra flair. Lemme explain. The strongest attacks that Doffy saw from Luffy were Gear 3, not Giant Jet Shell. This means that Doffy wouldn't know what a Gear 2/3 combo looks like, so the "limit" he's referring to is clearly Gear 3. Additionally, the One Piece Yellow databook states that Gear 3 is Luffy's limit, not Giant Jet Shell. However, a 4x multiplier doesn't do Gear 4 justice based on a few things. For one, Gear 4 is clearly faster than Gear 2 by a significant margin. It managed to speed blitz Doflamingo at least once, while Gear 2 could only keep up with him. This would mean that Gear 4 increases speed as well as power, similar to Gear 2. In fact, Gear 4's activation and Gear 2's first use in Enies Lobby mirror each other quite well, with both Blueno and Doffy getting blitzed and being unable to do meaningful damage to Luffy. And since Luffy blitzed Blueno by going 10x faster, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Gear 4 is also 10x faster than Gear 2. And just to back this up a bit more, the original kanji in the raw manga reads "manyfold" (何倍も), not "several" (複数), meaning the Gear 4 Amp is at least 4. But since several usually means 3 to 9, that means it's more likely that Gear 4 is actually a 10x amp to Gear 3. Making Gear 4's total multiplier to Base Luffy x110. Exactly equal to Giant Jet Shell. Gear 4 also has some aesthetic similarities to both Gears 2 and 3. The most obvious one is Luffy inflating his muscles instead of his bones by blowing into it. There's also a white vapor effect on Gear 4 that's very similar to Gear 2's; and for those who say it's just the air that Luffy used to inflate himself, said air literally rises from and wraps around himself when in this form. Just like Gear 2. But Gear 4 also one-ups Giant Jet Shell with its increased elasticity, letting Luffy coil in his arm to get stronger punches. So that's most likely why Luffy doesn't just combo Gears 2 and 3 now. Based on that alone, Gear 4 might be stronger that Giant Jet Shell, but it's more likely that both techniques are equal instead. So, to summarize, Gear 4 being 110x is more supported than it being 330x based on context alone. Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.
Excellent video! Love the scaling here. However, there's one thing I'd like to add. Wano reset 1 Luffy actually DOES have quantifiable scaling! This is because in their first encounter, Kaido actually one shots Gear 4 Luffy. To one shot someone you need to have an AP of at least around 7 times their durability. So I think it's reasonable to assume that after Reset 1, he's at least 7 times stronger than previously.
Bro I’m dying of laughter here… “just apply 700+ chapters of context” 51:35 the way you said this casually broke me and I don’t know why. I’m loving your video so far btw, finally someone is powerscaling One Piece chars correctly. Ima finish the video now.

one further argument for speed. luffy was dodging foxys noro noro photons, which put him at light speed back in long ring long land, if you are ignoring the sbs statement where oda said you would need to dodge at light speed to dodge enel. so luffy would be many x faster than even what you said. great video btw i loved watching it
This might be a bit of a stretch and over complicate the multipliers already put forward, but at a bare minimum do you think a Haki multiplier would scale to Gear 2’s 7-10x? When Luffy was fighting Boa Sandersonia and Marigold, in base he was effortlessly swatted away by their armament Haki; while using Gear 2 though he was able to break through.
Yea but post ts they aren’t really consistent in both wci and wano Before going into snakeman luffy in base was keeping up with katakuri and nobody was faster than the other Snake man should not have taken a single hit Also there was base luffy keeping up with kaido and g4 and g2 luffy having lesser showings lol

There's a part of me that thinks the powerscalers for Naruto or Bleach refuse to even acknowledge that One Piece does indeed have power is because they would have nothing left to lord over One Piece besides their feelings and nostalgia. One Piece generally has the stronger character stories, the stronger story overall, and obviously the stronger worldbuilding. Other powerscalers need SOMETHING that One Piece isn't better than them at. So they flock to the only thing left, character powerscaling. This primarily affects Naruto powerscalers more than anyone else, since Bleach is generally far stronger due to hacks and general power gap. So we have Mid Piece, island level power, and maxed speed at base lightspeed because Kizaru. That's the best they can do. They don't even want to consider a reality that the absolute powerhouses of One Piece can theoretically stand up to their Naruto, Sasuke, and Madara. Otherwise what's left besides feelings and nostalgia.
It's sadly true. You could give them all the evidence in the world and they'll still call it wank. Kaguya destroying a time-space comes from a mistranslation when the actual word used just means space. She needed a spirit bomb-esque attack to destroy it too. As we know, moves like Spirit bomb don't scale to ap, so she needed the energies of others to even reach planetary. They also take Naruto statements literally. There's like one guidebook saying Kurama can turn the world to ash and they'll take that as "Kurama can oneshot the planet!". What does One Piece have for planetary scaling? 5 sources saying Whitebeard can destroy the world, Tsuru literally says that moving to the other side of the planet wouldn't save her, and Blackbeard creating 200-meter tall Tsunami's which means a lot of energy is used in that one attack. Even the "Universe Creating" Feats they're so proud of aren't impressive. For one, real translations imply Kaguya didn't create her dimension, and Momoshiki's dimension was never stated to be parallel in the original Japanese source. Even with all this evidence for One Piece, they'll still tell you it's hyperbole. Heck, I'm willing to admit that Whitebeard likely can't one-shot the planet, but I know the One Piece planet is nearly star-sized, if not bigger. Here's the difference between Naruto and One Piece databooks. One Piece databooks just confirm what's already stated in the manga. Naruto databooks make up stuff that not only isn't stated in the manga but actively contradicts things that are.
I agree, although naruto and bleach fans will also lord over OP fans about how their artstyle is better and more beautiful. Also Naruto fans lord over OP for having better written villains
@@TheLoozerDonkey Art style is subjective, so that's just an "agree to disagree" situation. One Piece however, lords over those two in terms of diverse environments. Bleach has like Soul Society, Earth, a fucking barren desert called Hueco Mundo, and the equally empty looking Soul King Palace. Naruto has some cool vistas, but most locations are just there. They don't really add much to an environmental story telling, at least not as good as One Piece. As for villains, Bleach has like Aizen, Yhwach, and Ulquiorra. Naruto has more, recognizable villains in Pain, Madara, and Orochimaru, but for me at least One Piece is just as comparable in the villain department. I mean we got Doflamingo, Crocodile, Blackbeard, Kaido, and Big Mom.
Love these videos man, have been binge watching your videos sinces yesterday (20/07/2022). Really high quality content, very informative and very fun to watch, keep up the good work! 🔥
I wish you could have talked about the possibility of Douriki being a logarithmic scale, where small unit increments make a massive difference for lower values, but higher values are closer. A linear scale doesn’t sit right with me, as it would make Blueno relative to 80 average people despite the fact that Luffy casually killed about 500 people right before his mid difficulty fight with Blueno. An exponential scale doesn’t seem correct either, as Kumadori nearly killed Chopper, thereby making Chopper several orders of magnitude weaker than Usopp/Nami.
My question is when we get to talking about planet and large planet levels of strength are we saying that as our planet or the one piece planet just curious. Also love the work and videos keep it up man!!😊
You are the best Powerscaler out there, and considering Nika is the Sun God, i would say Gear 5th to gear 5th bajrang gun is between multi-planet level to Sun level
It was a nice video with some decent baselines. I don't agree with the last reset with crude kings armament vs true kings armament though. That one was not enough to do a reset of that magnitude. Luffys new base is crazy though. I'm not sure if you ever saw my scaling list from context and feats performed but I will see if I can tag you in it later.
What do you mean you don’t agree? You’re saying prior to the second clash on the rooftop a gear 4 crude conquerors luffy was depicted to split the sky?
@@Steinixos I just don't agree that he gets a new base amp that puts his strongest form over planetary. There is potential for it within the context of OP but not necessarily based off what you said. I just don't see the crude version being a whole tier in AP under the normal version.
@@Steinixos I just read it. I will comment under there if you would like. I agree that his base does get stronger, but by how much is highly debatable.
@@AcetaiTube Sure. Heads up tho if you're gonna continue with I feel statements i probably won't respond. I can only properly engage with factual statements. Not personal incredulity
Awesome video glad i discovered this channel the OP fanbase really needed a powerscaler a powerscaler that makes sense Could you do a how strong is kaido video
Pretty solid analysis all around, though I think the amp between Luffy’s crude Conqueror’s Haki and his mastered Conqueror’s Haki is quite a bit much. This jump in power assumes that base Luffy grew to be as powerful as his previous Gear 4 King Kong with crude conqueror’s, but while he was using advanced conqueror’s for the first time we only ever saw him being able to use it in his base form with no indication of him going Gear 4 between when he started using it and being knocked off the island by Kaido.
That’s the issue though, as far as I can recall Luffy never used Gear 4 when he first applied Conqueror’s to his blows, so assuming that a new base Luffy scales to a form he never used feels like a reach. We can safely assume that a base Luffy with advanced armament scales to his prior Gear 4 self, because we saw the latter failing to hurt Kaido. We can similarly assume that a crude conqueror’s base Luffy scales to advanced armament Gear 4, given Luffy’s ability to damage Kaido in his strongest form. In the case of crude to mastered Conqueror’s Haki though, there is no instance of gear 4 (much less gear 4 King Kong) for a new base Luffy to neatly scale to.
Love your videos, while I think current one piece caps at multi continental the things you bring up really highlight the strength of pre timeskip and early post skip perfectly.
I knew One Piece characters were far stronger and faster than most give them credit for. But even though I am a fan of One Piece and you have compiled everything in a low ball calculation. I STILL can hardly believe that Luffy is even possibly Moon level let alone large planet level! Oh and is possibly MFTL. You got the proof right in front of me and I am still struggling to believe it. It's pretty darn insane to say the least but it's the truth based on what you've presented.
You find it hard to believe because you haven't actually seen are large planetary or moon level feat. I understand. But for some series like one piece, you have to rely on its context.
@@golork3267 for real. But for naruto power scaling it's the opposite. I used to depend on power scalers scaling naruto characters and them saying that their planatary, solar system or even universal level and I strongly believed them. But now when you actually look at the context of naruto, they highest is small planetary, and the only character on that level was naruto in baryon mode......that doesn't even exist anymore. Context is really key.
@@golork3267 I don't even know where they got that from, kaguya and her dimensions that they say she created. The data books said it to but the manga says and shows something else all she did was teleport them. I would naruto and jigen are the only two planatary characters with the context text shown.
I think that luffy is large planetary (Low-balled) I have provided the scaling but can anyone provide me the scaling for Multi-planetary. Also amazing video Luffy pretimeskip= Large Mountain lvl (4 Gigatons) Fishman island to Dressrosa: Hody should be twice as strong as pretimeskip luffy while Hody is in base 2×4=8. Hody took at least 60 pills during the arc,not only that he fought luffy in the water so water doubles a fishman's overall physical stats,so 2×8=16 and since Hody took 60 pills 16×60= 960 Gigatons (Large island lvl) Base luffy should be just as strong as hody,so if we apply luffy's multiplier for Gear 2nd 5×960=4.8 Teratons (Small country lvl) Now Gear 3 should be at least a 3 times times multiplier 4.8×3= 14.4 Teratons (Country lvl), applying the multiplier for Gear 4th (Which should be at least a five times power up) 14.4×5= 72 Post whole cake island: So luffy after whole cake island should be twice as strong as his Gear 4th version during Dressrosa,so we are going to multiply his gear 4th stats by 2 times 72×2= 144 so by this logic we can apply the multipliers for his gears. So Gear 2nd should be 5×144= 720 Teratons and the multiplier for Gear 3rd should be 720×3=2.1 Petatons (Continental), applying the multiplier for Gear 4th 5×2.1= 10.5 Petatons (Multi-continental) Wano: So luffy after learning Ryou should be twice as strong as his previous Gear 4th state in base,so 10.5×2= 21 and we will apply the multipliers for his Gears also,Gear 2nd 21×5= 105 exatons (Moon lvl) and the Gear 3rd multiplier should be 100×3=300 exatons,by applying his multiplier for Gear 4th 5×300= 1.5 zettatons (Small planetary) Luffy when he uses Advance conquerers he should be twice as strong as he was in his previous Gear 4th state because he was able to not only keep up but damage kaido heavily even in his base state,so 1.5×2=3 zettatons and the multiplier for Gear 2nd 5×3= 15 and Gear 3rd 15×3= 45 zettatons, multiplier for Gear 4th is 5×45= 225 zettatons (Planet lvl) Luffy after getting better at advance conquerers should again make him twice as strong as his previous Gear 4th form, multiplying Gear 4th by two 225 × 2= 450 Zettatons, applying Gear 2nd multiplier 450×5= 2.2 Yottatons, applying the gear 3rd multiplier 2.2×3= 6.6 Yottatons (Large Planetary) and lastly applying the multiplier for Gear 4th 6.6×5= 33 Yottatons (Btw I have scaled luffy to over thousands of times ftl)
@@ogbonnachizz9194 Me don't care lol. I increase or decrease luffy's power lvl based on what I'm arguing against. I don't know what Oda's intentions are and neither do you,we don't even know if he wanted luffy to be thousands of times mftl but luffy easily is. I'm not going to say luffy is solar system lvl or something but he is definitely in the star lvl range. A fodder like Sai was Continental lvl lol. Also I don't what you mean by the pills effect wearing off,do you have any evidence of that happening? If not then it can be easily dismissed
@@ogbonnachizz9194 Huh? Where did you get that from? Yes but a major part of knowing the authors intention in powerscaling is by using feats, statements etc
@@ogbonnachizz9194 Yeah I understand your argument and don't worry I won't scale Hody to planetary unless it's not necessary. I will scale him to moon lvl at most, now obviously if someone claims that Naruto is solar system lvl or something then yeah I will scale luffy to Galaxy lvl
this is really an amazing vid, keep it up. u earned a sub from me. ngl your one of the first ppl to show how much of a monster luffy was/became even before gear 5. edit: i gotta say, luffy using kaido as a jump rope was way too disrespectful 💀
Amazing job at the same time people Mostly don’t think how gear 5 luffy work Find even more funny After as there multiple proof of luffy Doing something crazy Yeah people just ignore or people say I watch the anime or Read the manga so I know how it works yet they Still get it wrong Crazy
I did a less conservative calculation, and I ended up at about : 1.156477668808458e+51 tons of tnt, which is about Multi- Solar system level, and I didn't even highball it, it was still somewhat conservative in my opinion.
It’s crazy to me how people purposely under scale Luffy, even though I’d say out of all the Big 3 members One Piece has some of the most simple scaling, like they literally outright say people’s feats and still people downscale One Piece characters to max moon level, mainly less, while people say Ichigo is universal because he beat Ywatch even though he needed a specific item to cancel all of his powers so Ichigo could get a hit in on Ywatch something they can’t even use anymore, and before that Ichigo didn’t have a chance in hell at beating Ywatch, or people saying Naruto is universal since Kaguya can create/shift people to other dimensions, which doesn’t even add to her actual power, I’m a visual kind of guy so I like facts on scaling feats, not pulling feats from non canon information like light novels stating something that’s clearly hyperbole but using that as hard evidence even though that same move has done nothing to show me it’s close to that level
Something that a lot of people don't get is beating someone who did a certain feat doesn't put you at that level. The only real exception is Dragon Ball and even then, it's not always the case. From what I remember, the actual translations said Kaguya melded dimensions together while the mistranslation says she created them. Here's the thing though. Charlotte Mon't D'or can create mulitple infinite universes with his devil fruit. Guidebooks say it, the anime says it, and so does the manga. Nobody says "Luffy's stronger than him so he's universal!". There's definitely a double standard when it comes to One Piece scaling. The only verse where people use real world logic to downplay feats while not doing the same for other verses.
Amazing video as always Luffy grow 100 time stronger during time skip ,in 3D2Y the main villain made himself 100 time stronger who was equal to gear 2nd Luffy in base And yeah this movie is cannon and main villain waw created by oda himself
The movie isn't canon, and even power levels doesn't fit, now we know Hancock could obliberate dressrosa G4 atleast and posibly match ppl like Kata/King or even ppl like Zoro or even above, while that hancock was just luffy g2 pre fishman island lvl

I love the video but I have a couple question/grievences with it Pell surviving the bomb: It is something that 100% for a fact happened and the way it was shown heavily implies that pell was holding it when it exploded but the rest of the arc treats the bomb as something that would kill everybody including the straw hats. Pell also had to heal with help from a doctor for several days after the explosion. In contrast he got up from robins attack much quicker so clearly she didn't do as much damage as the bomb did to him. The narrative of the arc displays it as something that would kill the strawhats so using it as a durability feat feels wrong to me. 1000 shadow Moria: How do we know its a 1000 multiplier? The shadows may simply be additive in strength rather than multiplicitive for example lets say moria has a strength of 100 and each shadow has a strength of 1 then 1,000 shadow moria would have a strength of 1,100 rather than the 100,000 if it was a multiplier. Essentially the formula would be P=B+Sn P=total power B=base strength S=Shadow strength n=number of shadows I love the video and admire how much work goes into it but as is the nature with scaling notbeveryone agrees
I find it so funny how far you went to downplay the feats at certain points just to appease those that believe luffy is rock level. Like for example how Gear 3 was given a 0.1x Gear 2's power despite it being obviously shown as much stronger than that. Or how the enies lobby rounding was rounded down from 4.9 to 4 instead of what would be more logical (rounding it UP to 5) lmfao. Or probably the most gross underestimation the world has ever seen, using pre timeskip luffy scaling for post time skip luffy feats despite the difference being night and day. The end results show luffy being an absolute monster but if all these underestimations were gone just imagine the results, i mean luffy while being grossly underestimated and without any of his big powerups is already small planet level. Good ass video man 👍
Luffy basically becomes a cartoon character. Toon force is just way op even by anime standards. Give him an arc or two and he'll be nigh unstoppable. Maybe excepting for The Dip.
(Rewatching) 19:08 Is Oda telling us that if you're Douriki is at least 5x greater than you're opponent, they cannot damage you? 🤔 20:06 Since Douriki only measures your Overall Base Physical Attributes (Atk, Spd, Def), it does not take into account of the Six Power Techniques. Which means that Iron Body raises the user's Douriki, right? Which means that Blueno's Douriki (with Iron Body active) was at least 5x larger than Luffy's Douriki to nullify Luffy's attack. And Luffy later overwhelms Blueno's Iron Body in Gear 2.
Facts gear 5 op and the man only limited by his imagination plus the more he laughs, the more he gets stronger. He is basically Hulk now with freedom power his full potential is unknown
Love this video man. But For the sake of argument. When Oda was creating these chapters I belive he set whitebeard as the standard at planet level. So i dont think he expected people to be powerscaling how strong characters are. So old whitebeard was planet level so I would put current luffy at just small planet level. Or until Oda introduces new content on luffy.
White beard can destroy the ONE PIECE world but the ONE PIECE world is 1600 times massive then earth. So as old beard could destroy 1600 earths I would say current luffy destroys 250 earths in g5
Me: can’t watch 5 minutes of a gameplay video Also me: watches a full hour and a half video about a guy explaining the power of a mentally challenged rubber boy who fights dragons
i gotta disagree with you on the pell part, Pell just took a small portion of the energy of that bomb. Nico Robin cracked his neck which is different i think. I would use an IRL example, i could survive a bomb going off, depending on its strength ofc and if i am in the center of the explosion or not but i could die from a single knife stab, that wouldnt give me a durability based on the bombs maximum destructive capacity and wouldnt put the knife on the same level. Correct me if i am wrong.
Its hard to quanitfy, but Luffy’s base gets stronger in every arc, Nami states on the sea train that Luffy and Zoro are just always growing stronger, and this makes sense later on as Luffy almost died several times against Doflamingo, and then against cracker who he stated was stronger he was goofing off and able to destroy the biscut soldiers just not quick enough to keep up with Cracker making more. So maybe to account for this arc to arc boost do a 1.1x boost to base between each arc?
This makes sense a lot. with Blackbeard saying luffy's haki grew stronger than the time they met before. Notice both time he saw luffy in base only. There is also zoro saying that they are getting stronger after each island they travel to.
