I always liked to think that the reason Herucles revived after Ilya died was beacause by protecting her, Hercules had gained another labor

The thing about Heracles’ Madness Enhancement is that... it’s actually pretty weak, much weaker than you’d think. At Rank B, he is incapable of speech and communication, BUT HE CAN THINK. To an extent, but this has been shown a lot more in Fate Grand Order. In Okeanos, Heracles was capable of discerning the danger of the Ark of the Covenant if it came to contact with a Divine Spirit. So he kept ignoring Asterios and Mash, aiming for Euryale to keep the world from crumbling to nothingness. In his Interludes, Heracles aimed to save children from dragons and was able to consciously protect his master, even under the strongest Madness Enhancement he could be. Even as a Berserker, he was just savage, not wild. He fights with simple strategies with clear goals. And a powerful Berserker with minimal thought is much scarier than a Berserker without thought at all

Wonderful video as always please keep up the great work. that being said I do have one minor correction for the information stated in this video. His Archer form as seen in fate strange fake does not have access to God Hand. His Noble Phantasm King's order that allows him to use the 12 Noble phantasms he gathered on his labors is the same as God Hand in that it represents the completion of 12 impossible labors. King's order only manifested because Heracles master deliberately used a combination of special command seals very unique Mage craft and the corrupted mud of the Grail to give him something not quite the same but similar to the dual-class ability thus giving him attributes of the Avenger class. It is this process that fully removes all of Heracles divinity making him a mortal. the noble Phantasm of God hand is explicitly tied to his divinity and the fact that he became a full-blown God after his death, with it gone God Hand can no longer be present but because Heracles isn't Heracles unless he has a noble Phantasm representing the completion of the 12 labors King's order manifests as a side effect. before he was corrupted and he was initially summoned as an Archer he did in fact have access to god hand as well as nine lives via his Hydra bow and possibly the Pelt of the the nemean lion...... but that changes immediately after being corrupted into a Avenger / Archer. So as far as We Know King's order and God Hand are mutually exclusive Noble phantasms or perhaps two sides of the same Noble Phantasm that can't be used at the same time.

So Hercules' 12 lives makes him basically doomsday

A very interesting point to be made about Heracles: Gilgamesh himself said that if Heracles wasn't so focused on protecting Illya, he probably would have pushed Gil far further than he had in their fight. So the only real reason why Heracles lost was because of plot convenience. And protecting the most adorable daughter to exist on the face of the planet.

Archer Heracles is really OP, but Nasu really does have a soft spot for Riders. Caesar if he was in his proper class as a Rider (not a saber) would be at his peak performance for instance. And Heracles is no stranger to mounted beasts. He would be just like a stronger Achilles, and could probably roflstomp the entire grail war just like Achilles could have in Apocrypha.

What about if Berseker fight Iskandar and his army ?? it would be really fun to watch

Heracles still carries me in FGO, even in the lostbelt. So many clutch victories won with Castle in Snow CE

One small tweak Nasu had to retcon the nullification aspect of Hercules god hand. So now he just takes decreased damage from the same attack as opposed to being completely immune to it. (Spoilers) I think it had something to do with Hercules fighting saber alter and she killing him the same way but I honestly don’t remember

Something that it's interesting too about his Madness enhanchment, in Fate Grand Order, it's that he can even get more powerful when you make him succumb more to it. And when you think that he can't even succumb more and get more powerful, he still have his sanity so that means that he can get more powerful.

Bless my soul, Herc is on a roll~ But seriously, Herc is a BADASS. I know Archer is probably one of the best classes for him, but I recall a source saying Saber Herc would be devastating as well.

If I had Hercules and I knew that I was fighting Gilgamesh (in real life), I would probably use 2 or all 3 of my command seals just to defeat him.

A few minor corrections:all of his stock of lives will restocked in 3 days, not just 2 lives.While in the UBW anime they mentioned the 3 days rule for the 2 lives he lost from Archer and Saber, in the VN when he fought Archer he lost 6 lives and Ilya said, again, that he needs 3 days to return to full power.So even if you kill him 11 times if he leaves then everything you did was pointless after only 3 days. In FGO he has his motor skills but he loses God Hand(an excuse for the lack of skill or NP that gives us 12 lives). Herc was always "sane" when it came to Ilya.Him being protective of her isnt a result of their training. And the "nullification" thing had a retcon.OR to be more precise that was a mistaken interpretation.He doesnt gain nullification. He becomes ridiculously resistant to that attack. So it is like he gain +9999 resistance. You could probably scratch him with the same attack but that was all.

Just a correction: Heracles usually doesnt get Kings Order, only his corrupted Alter version can get as compensation for not having God Hand, losing his divinity and stats along the board and reducing his body mass to more normal levels . Until now Archer Heracles was only hinted at the very start (where its shown hes as huge as his Berserker version) before was corrupted into a hybrid Archer/Avenger form that changed him completetly Proper Heracles Archer do have Nine Lives and God Hand. It canbe possible that he might have some of the items he got on his adventures like the Nemean pelt or Ares Sash but he wont be having the 12 NPs of Kings order at once

If Heracles didnt have madness enhancement I still believe Heracles would be victorious against gilgamesh he is the greatest hero of greace but also is has wild wide fame like achilles

Herc had one of the coolest "Noble Phantasms" in a show with many characters with very coo & unique special moves/"Noble Phantasms" FATE/ZERO is one of my favorite anime. I hope that the arsenal of weapons in the books that I am writing have as much of an impact on the reader.

As a side note, it is possible for Lancer to kill Heracles 12 times. Though Heracles has the advantage and the fight would be very difficult.

I just love this scene in UBW where Herc while dead with his last effort rips enkidu off of himself flexing like a god he is and go for Gils face. Also it's a pity that in HF movie they nerfed or removed his resistance to attacks because I was reading forums and apparently you can still kill Herc with the same attack if this attack deals 200% more damage that previous killing blow. Because the fight while extremely entertaining was too much dominated be Salter, and you know it when your boy Herc connect his fist to you and you just tank it

Gread video! I love Herc! I think he neglected to note, though, that apparently you can take "multiple lives" with a single attack. It doesn't really make much sense but Fate does kind of have a "gamey" system working behind it. I guess if you hit him hard enough to deplete his lifebar multiple times, it counts as multiple kills? To my knowledge this only happens in Stay Night so maybe it's more disputable than other sources.

But in the second film heaven's feel saber kill barseker several time with the same attack u need explication bro

It is noted in the fate stay night visuel novel that saber(king arthur) Would be the strongest servant in the fifth holy grail war if not for shirou being her master because she was the only servant in the grail war with A rank in strength Meaning she was the only one Who could harm without using a Noble phantasm plus she could increase her strength Even further by using mana burst Plus if she used excalibur it would take all twelve since Caliburn a less powerful weapon was able to take seven lives So the whole thing with only gilgamesh being able to beat not being entirely accurate And by the way gilgamesh doesnt count as part of the fifth grail war And for anyone Who says that saber couldnt beat berserker If she cant then half of ubw is pointless anyway great video your videos got me into fate And its now my favourite universe of all time😁

Archer pulls him into ubw after running away like a b*tch for a little while a la fate route. At that moment he won. The highest rank weapon inside it would be a most B++ rank thanks to ubw rank down, so he would need to break his B rank and above weapons to kill him, which would take a lot of his reserves and leave him open to getting annahilated, were he not inside ubw. While getting away far enough and getting time to break and shoot his weapons from his bow, he would distract berserker with tidal waves of NPs that are already there. Sure, the weapons couldn't pierce him, but getting struck by literal tidal waves of NPs at supersonic speeds from everysingle direction would likely prevent berserker from moving around much, leaving him open to get shot and killed for the first time. At that moment he lost. While regenerating, archer gets further away and prepares the next shot and aims it so berserker gets hit again just as he finishes reviving. Rinse and repeat until Berserker dies. And to prevent massive magical consumption, instead of breaking NPs, he can just use his highest rank Mystic Codes. Any attack of A and above, be it magecraft of that rank, NPs, Mystic codes, or Physical strength can affect him or kill him. The fight would come down to whether berserker squashes archer before archer deploys UBW.

Spoilers: At 13:08 you mentioned that in his Archer form he still got God's Hand which is incorrect because of his master's intervention using command spells and mud from Fuyuki Grail which stripped him off in his divinity and becoming the "human" aspect of Heracles which is Alcides. Instead, he got King's Order where he have a (possibly) total of 12 NPs as a proof of accomplishing those labors tho only 4 were being revealed. P.S. I didn't include Reincarnation Pandora NP because that thing is just a bonus of him transitioning into an Avenger class.

Another thing that's cool about him was he was able to break the chains that Gilgamesh explains are impossible for a divine being like him to break... But for Heracles that was just another trial for him to accomplish...

I don't think that the Archer class is the best class for Herc, that version of him is a combination between the Archer cllass and the Avenger class, so it's basically 2 class in one servant
