I mean he should realistically outpace him by orders of magnitude. I think it's meant to be kind of implied that his retcons etc would be a few layers removed the majority of the orders of power outlined at the end of the summation. Like I don't think his retcons will have effected anything which views the multiverse as interactive media. So like imp level and beyond. The reality is though that DC handles dealing with the scale of its events poorly. Because it's stuck in a perpetual power creep. Where they have to keep adding another layer of power to the threats to make them feel relevant. Which is a problem when you start getting to threats that are supposed to be universal, because the scale spiral has to start becoming geometric. They go from universal, to omni, to multi, to abstract, to etc etc etc. And it's very funny that at the level things like Perpetua, a being who's supposed to birth the very concept of a multiversal reality, they're still basically just people in funny clothes. Like, if you want to deal with these heady ideas about reality's fundamental structure, be a bit creative about it.

@@Dontmindmeimjusthere yea. They've been dealing with the same characters for too long. It's an inevitable aspect of stories that focus on overcoming powerful foes. You keep having to make the next one bigger and badder. And it just becomes silly at some point if you give it enough time. I prefer tight narrative stories tbh. Something that has a defined beginning, middle and end. Stories can't just go on forever. They just end up stupid.

In the same issue where Laughs and Prime fought, Laughs asked Prime to stand aside and said "I'd prefer not to expend the energy necessary to kill you". Implying he can, but it'd take a sizeable chunk of his power
