I got the opportunity to workout with rich, when he was still training people, I asked how much he charged and he flat out said he wouldn’t even charge me, he let me train with him for 2 hours free, and I can tell you guys this man was very strong
Yeah obviously strong but how strong that’s the point of the video dude , some dude on a dirt bike saying he’s strong is different then other strong people saying he’s strong , ur comment is basically pointless
He was honest about what? He promoted his extremely unhealthy lifestyle and made millions out of inspired fools taking his example. How does promoting other people to live a unhealthy and unsustainable lifestyle for your own goodwill fit with being honest? His dead should be put in the dictionary as an example for the word karma.
He was very open about his PED usage and the risks attached. He was one of the only big names in fitness to be honest about the scam that so many of the supplements out there are. And he absolutely did not "promote" steroid use. He said numerous times that it was a serious commitment and could be dangerous. He did however say that if you decided it was something you wanted to do, then you needed to do it correctly. Thus he provided cycle and post cycle info for FREE so that people could be informed.
Was never a huge fan, but I did watch some of his videos, and I always respected him for being so open about the fact that he did use steroids and never encouraged his followers to use them. He never stopped talking about proper diet and work ethic and if that even if you were on gear, but didn't work your ass off, it wasn't going to yield the kind of results you'd hoped for. He did video on about the dangers of abusing steroids and he told his followers flat out not to use them. He said it was his personal choice to use them, and that he was aware of the risks, but would never recommend that to someone else. Respect. RIP bro.
Your a disgrace i wouldnt even call you fan. One, rich was a vegan body builder and two, rich pianta is not your bro. And three you cant use r.i.p unless you actually attended his funeral. Gtfoh normie
@Jason Striation He was honest about it and didn't encourage it. He did what he wanted to do to get that big and died doing so. Better than some people who claim natty or just flat out deny it, and much better than the people who actually encourage PEDs.
Angel G rich used synthol, PMMA, every roid known to man, insulin, Botox, implants, "stimulants", oxys, every supplement going, eye liner, fake tan, lipstick and eye contacts... There's nothing natural about him It's like saying Kali muscle didn't do gay porn... google chuck basher lol
He was so strong he touched our hearts with his out of the box personality, entertained millions of us gym bros with daily vids we surely miss him a true 5%er.😢
I've filmed with Rich several times and I was around a lot when he filmed his videos in Scot Mendelson's gym. Never once did he mention Fake weights or bring Fake weights to the filming of his videos. I think this was a vicious rumor started by some of his haters which he had a lot of.
He went to my gym in tampa. I also never saw him use anything but the house weights. Super cool guy always nice and friendly. I never asked for a photo but I may have if i knew what was coming. He was a monster but in the nicest way possible. It sounds like you were atleast somewhat close to him and I'm sorry for your loss.
I think its real. There was a few 5% guys that quit. One got my attention might of been the samoans lookin dudes. Theres a video where a skinny chick from Pianas crew is squatting alot of weight. The Ex boyfriend an ex 5% admitted that his ex has never squatted near that many plates and he called her out. The chick said piana wanted them to look stronger. No doubt he was buff AF. Im sure they used fake weights on some videos to sell their products or something
after death only the ones that go to heaven rest in peace and leave in peace, the others ones burn in hell forever and ever, whether you believe in hell or not..
Wrong, he has encouraged steroids, and people destroying their bodies, for minimal gains...you saying his soul rest in peace is saying that all the people who have ever died or been screwed over by steroids is OK...shame on you AFCA ...DISGRACEFUL!!!
derrrrr i'm retated….but I love turkey sandwiches AND HGH MILKSHAKES LOL Franco Columbo benched 525 at 5-6 200 and Bill Smith could reverse curl his own bodyweight...fuck this tool video
I was actually at golds gym one day when he was filming. I went and got a quick 10-15 min workout with him before him and his film team went to work. He was the most down to earth, genuine dude I’ve ever met. I had the balls to straight up ask him if he did fabricate some of his lifts for videos just to add more spice to videos. He told me straight up no but he considered it from time to time due to him getting older.
Still doesn't take away the fact he had the best you tube channel and so many has copped bits and pieces from his to make theres he was a awsome guy if you ever met him
Dan Ramirez hm rich piana was a fking bodybuilder why would he fake a fkin plate lmao. for a guy his size its not that big of a deal. he also ain't no powerlifter so why would he care. all her care about his body.
Was not surprised at all by his death, there was enough of a pattern in previous deaths caused by the combination of heart problems/age/body weight/heavy steroid use by then. And his diet was terrible enough to be a joke.
Wait why were you impressed by his deadlift ? Like isn’t the deadlift supposed to me more than the squat and a lot higher than the bench ? I’d say his deadlift is not too impressive relative to his size
I mean squatting more than you deadlift is one thing, but Rich was damn near his best deadlift on bench, which obviously indeed his most impressive of the 3 lifts.
@@kostalontos5000 I second that nick. No one who is happy with himself would willingly overdose on roids till they die, he knew what he was doing. Fuck money that is temporary either way and so is your health, why not live a long happy life than a short one? Which one sounds better? Luckily I'm a born again Christian and have all eternity available I can be bigger than this guy and more powerful forever instead of a few decades.
Rich Pianas main focus was maximum muscle growth, size and aesthetics. If Rich wanted to be power lifter his numbers would be a lot better. But he mostly cared about his physique like most bodybuilders do.
No one earns paradise with God and considering he insulted God on a daily bases with drug use "abusing his temple which is his body that god made in his image" lets also note he likely never got baptized...no we know he didn't otherwise he wouldn't abuse drugs... point is he is in Hell dude. Not what I would hope or wish on him though but narrow is the way too eternal life, broad is the way too destruction "Hell" You cant earn your salvation you must accept it by getting baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and to continue to serve God. He served himself his vanity killed him.
@@darthbane2669 Lmao you're the one thats gonna burn in hell for having all this hatred in you. I firmly believe that Rich had infinitely more positive effect on peoples lives in his 46 years than you would if you could live to be a million. Rich is in Heaven's gym, he motivated countless people and never lied about the industry or himself. He lived his life exactly how he wanted and died happy. So have fun in hell with the millions of others who have hate, jealousy, and oversized egos you loser.
You are correct concerning Rich’s YT days in regards to the very heavy lifting. In the vid he made with Björnsson, they talk about this very thing - Rich mentions that due to the amount of time he had been lifting and his age - that his joints (particularly his elbows) couldn’t withstand that kind of stress anymore. Bottom line is: Rich was quite strong and you don’t get that kind of thickness without strength moves. Really miss the guy.
R.I.P. Rick!! The guy was honest and transparent about his steroid use. I respect that about him. Very likeable dude, real not a bullshitter. He still put the work in @ the Gym. Work meaning reps to time ratio. Reps till failure all fellow personal trainers know what I'm referring to. He lived and died loving what he did. Much respect!!!!!!
Rich did not care about how much weight he could lift. He trained with the goal of looking how he wanted to look. I guess you are just curious as to how much he could lift with all that muscle.
Mad Respect to Rich! You can judge him all you want but the man was honest and actually recomended the opposite of steroid use to fans etc! The man created an empire with his mind and body if it we're a cake walk every body would have his success yet it also designated his death! RIP
495 x 3 bench is as strong as kevin levrone back in the day. 585 squat is decent. 275 lb x 3 barbell curl is impressive and quite plausible as there is footage of him doing sets of 8-10 with 225. 585 deadlift is not as impressive. For a 585 squat he should have been deadlifting 650-700lbs as its supposed to be the strongest lift
Pretty sure I saw an interview with him while he was in Auzzie where he stated he competed in 2011 as his last competition. Also, this Nick guy sounds like he lifts a lot of Doritos bags - just saying.
