I love that the subtext of Joe Piscopo's character being just him would imply that this film was a scam by the mob to either make money or ruin his career

@@oldpersonalaccount Oh good lord, it's seriously bad. It's less of a standup comedy show, and more of a showcase for Joe to show how many instruments he can kinda, sorta play. It gets especially bad when he started playing a recorder.
@@mrmusickhimself please tell me that didn't actually happen. i haven't touched a recorder since i was 9 and it should be that way with everybody. any grown adult that touches a recorder needs to be put on some kind of list or in a psych ward. that is NOT ok 😭
In 2017, Joe Piscopo was strongly considering an Independent run for governor of New Jersey. I kinda wish he ran, it would've been a lot more interesting than his acting career.

It really bothers me that the joke is "this guy was huge 10 years ago" "so what? 10 years ago my wife didn't look like her mother." It's so obvious that the punchline should be "this guy was huge 10 years ago." "So what? 10 years ago my wife wasn't." Get it? A double entendre? It's a shitty joke that's making fun of a woman's appearance, but at least it has a structure now
I love how Ralph never says anything bad about Piscapo personally, but you can just hear the disgust boiling just under the surface in his voice every time he mentions him.

Edit: I'm seeing people comment that RTMM took this video from Opie and Anthony.He can talk about the same thing the other guys talked about. That has happened before, reviewers do this all the time with new releases and old.
Hearing O&A cover this trailer years ago when it came out is one of my favorite things. Also their coverage of his showtime special is some of the best radio ever made. Highly recommend.
