Welcome Back to the 50th Kamahardikaan sin Tawi-Tawi - yes, the country's southernmost province is 50 years old!
First I explore the Trade Fair, featuring the province's 11 diverse municipalities.
Then it's a market mission, looking for durian from Jolo, before I do something very daot in the evening!
Did you know Tawi-Tawi is the largest producing province of seaweed in the whole country?
Well the next day is the Agal-Agal Festival (Seaweeds Festival) - a colourful celebration of everything the province has to offer! A giant turtle float? Yes, it's here!
Then I escape the heat to the awesome Suzuki dealership in Pag-asa - and they found some Jolo durian for me! The best!
Before leaving this amazing place for the second time, I take a quick look at the Maligay Festival - tiny palaces stuffed with delicacies and money, for celebrations! A fitting end to such an amazing celebration!
