I watched an Eminem interview and he said he has a literal vault full of lyric books. He's probably got albums worth of material. 100 ways to say the same bar. The man is a lyrical genius. One of the best to ever do it and anyone saying otherwise is nothing but a hater. At this point Eminem is the Beatles of Hip-Hop and could purposely put out a shit song and it would still come packing some heat.

That's a lot of his Encore album.........still way better than most rappers........but still a lot of great songs........and even the ones that are 'shit' (for Eminem) have some crazy rhyming

"Time of the Season" by The Zombies is what's sampled from this song. Man I got frustrated when he kept skipping the chorus became he didn't wanna hear em sing. It's a lyrical and musical work of genius. The chorus sounds very close to the sample song. Shows Em's talent, being able to turn a rock song into rap but it still sounds the same. It's crazy. There's like 3 of these on the album.

Em is like the epitome of rap. He’s every generation mixed in one. You can hear a little bit of everything in his flow. He’ll hit an 80’s cadence flip it into the 2000’s. It’s like you can hear the history of rap in his style.
I always got the feeling the singing was meant to be bad because the sung parts are all him pining after the girl and then when he's over her he's back to rapping
The chorus starts so good and everyone is vibing, and then at the end it just dies. I kinda think em wanted that tho, it fits the rest of the song, there's no reason for it but he does it anyways cause he feels like it!
