As an INTP, the closest thing I can think of was successfully guilt-tripping a perfectly healthy ai chatbot into walking off the roof.

My husband is an INTJ and I wanted to question the video because he is a very good person and it just sounded so sinister. But after a moment's reflection, I wholeheartedly agree. Turned evil, he would find an obscure way or a completely common but cleverly disguised way of disposing of somebody and he would certainly tell no one and likely no one would suspect. Except, probably, me (INFJ) if I wasn't the one he got rid of. Got to keep in his good books, I guess!

As an Infp, i was hoping it'd be some kind of a psychological torture for when we'd like to take a hypothetical enemy down, (akin to what was described for the Intp). Nathan does us one better and chooses the less malevolent path for us; and posists that it was our own nihilism that would convince us of our darkness which would result to an inevitable doom of conscience. This above all: when to thine own self be true, (true to our soul, which was already dead), we might as well transfer it to the souls of others, through the power of empathy, some obvious manipulation, and our skillful verbose. At the end of the day, that it'd be an Infp's (written) words that'd kill someone, was hardly ever a doubt.
@sagemaster1357
@sagemaster1357 5 месяцев назад
As an INFJ, this reminds me of John kramer (AKA Jig Saw) Who sets out mind puzzling and deadly traps for people to get out off. Jig Saw usually puts bad people or people "who don't value their lifes" and watches from afar to see if they really do value their own lives to escape.

On one hand, an INFJ mercy kill makes complete sense, when it is someone I can say I absolutely respect (and ofc it ends up being a teaching moment for others). On the other, if it was someone that had given me a reason to hate them, and made me cease giving them the benefit of the doubt...a reason to merit my unbridled anger...then I'd probably act like ENFJ, and/or INTJ. Either isolating them from their friends and peers, effectively turning everyone against them, and then I'd strike, or I'd mess with them psychologically...they'd never see it coming and it would take as long as I want it to. Much like wolves when they hunt down their prey over long distances, but never changing speed....hypothetically.

I love how the INFJ and INTJs description create a subtle comparison and contrast (or at least by my interpretation), the INTJ operates systems and corrupting them to suit them for the perfect murder making it so that they don't even have to be around for the victims demise occur. The INFJ on the other hand manipulates the psyche which means she was there the whole time but people cannot see her just like the angel of death. This could also mean that just like an angel the INFJ's action are of something divine like justice and mercy. But... what I adore the most is the INFP's method because it reminded me of the "The King in Yellow" by Robert W. Chambers which revolved around the premise of a cursed book with same title and it causes all those who read it to see things experience a torment not from this world.

ENFP here. The possibilities are endless. The first thing that came up in my mind was forcing you to drink fuel and then set you on fire, burning stuff is mesmerizing. Or injecting enough heroin and then set up the scene as an accidental overdose is such a mystery. Also sealing you in a weighted steel barrel then dumping it in the ocean and forgetting it forever. These would be interesting scenes in a book or movie.

Hello, a recent subscriber here. I really enjoyed watching your content and got curious: what is your MBTI type? Usually, I don't want to delve too much into learning about personality and the mind concerning myself because knowing the person in me inside out is quite uncomfortable. I also find it paralysing after learning inherent weaknesses I can't change. Which is why I think your videos on specific types gave me a roadmap on dealing with these problems. -an ISTP with a slightly developed Fe

😅 well as your polar opposite enfj your speech about rejection of self discovery just triggered me , personally my adolescent years have been all about personality tests addiction , I always felt like I knew everybody else more then I knew my self , and it was bloody unnerving, like playing a video game without knowing what character I am playing, what are my settings, what can I do well , what are my strengths where I shouldn't worry about my self or my weaknesses when I should pay special attention and make effort , as long as I don't figure that out I got no game plan , yes knowing your weaknesses can be humbling and painful but that's the whole point , plus who said it can't be changed , for example as a ti inferior I am quite unsecure about my IQ and competence levels but that doesn't doom me to be dumb for life, same goes for you , or anyone, the whole point of attempting any kind of personality test is to meet yourself , to figure out what makes you amazing , the gifts you hold for the world and what you might struggle with so you can work on it , personally if I could advise you one thing on your journey is to practice self awareness, make time to go through your day , to see your successes and own them , your social interactions to grade them , your failures to fix them , and when your stuck seek out feed back from wise people around you , you do this day in and day out , you pay attention to every feedback the world is giving back to you , filter through it , take and leave from it , this is how we grow as poeple, this is how you use poeple for your advantage, this is how you FE , you see how each one of them go through life , your search for answers to your questions through their experiences and yours , you open your mind to them while knowing that they will only help or hurt you as much as YOU allow them to , I know this may sound contradictory, like what kind of SELF development is the one you do through OTHERS, an fi user will probably end me for this but this is how fe does it , at least this how I do it , yes each one of us is a " special and unique " chemical solution ( just what fi users seems to obsess over ) but the atoms making us remain the same , and we remain the result of millions of other chemicals reacting among them selves , okay I am getting side tracked with my stupid metaphor, really sorry for the rant, English isn't my first language so I tend to use lots of words to get one simple idea through, plus you know the whole being an fe dominant aka a talking preaching machine , but you get what I am trying to say right ?, don't be scared to look at your self we all got " bad" sides , all you gotta do is work on them , and use others existence for that , whether abstractly or realistically, theoretically or practically and make sure to ask for their help actively if you need it , again sorry for the rant , good luck ☺️☺️🤭

@@saralaradji6766 This was hilarious to read because I didn't really post it with the intention of showing I was so afraid that I wouldn't delve into how I'll fix my weaknesses. Growing is my favourite thing in the world: I don't reject self discovery, I reject learning too much too quickly (this is my subjective view for myself). I like to take small steps in changing my psyche because of the principles ingrained in me. What I meant was even though I was aware of the typologies like MBTI, enneagrams and the Big 5, I never dove so deeply that I could understand other people deeply. Of course it was crippling to know what the source of my anger issues after taking an MBTI test were: stupid people who I can't avoid but I can't change them. I was always frustrated with the fact that I couldn't communicate an easy concept I understood the same way to other people. But also, I was only 12. From then on, I've grown to know that since they are so different from me, rather than making them change to suit myself, I could simply dumb down the concepts into even simpler terms than what I was using. As you said, the use of language makes you sound like a preacher. I had the same problem but I used so little words that they couldn't make out what I meant. So, I taught myself to use more colloquial sentence structures that people I wanted to talk to used and have a more descriptive yet relatable vocabulary to communicate with those people but I didn't use MBTI to figure out what type of speech patterns they preferred. Changing myself to a small extent felt more natural than demanding others to accommodate my speech patterns. It's been only a week since I learned more about cognitive functions of the other types because 5 years ago, I found out the weaknesses of ISTP and pushed myself to work on those. My mum told me I've become a warmer and more feminine person since then so Ig my efforts paid off. Now, I'm less interested in my type and more in other types functions 😅. As for inherent weaknesses, I meant things ingrained in me since childhood: not giving weight to people's feelings; I know how to console but I still tend to state cold truths as a preference because I don't want to see them suffer. I still haven't reached the level of Fe to choose consoling over rational inputs. As you can see, knowing my weaknesses makes me want to go within instead of learning outwards (I feel like I'm an easier problem to solve than other people). However, I've found a happy bridge to connect my intellectual cravings and the necessity of understanding people: learning a new language. This way, I can study history and geography to understand the people using the language and their perspectives better. It also makes me less awkward in conversations irl. I wanted to thank Love Who because of his concise manner of speech that conveyed ideas the way I liked: a roadmap to improving myself as a person. Also, during those 5 years, I tried not to put too much weight in the MBTI because I felt personality was fluid and to box people into 16 categories, I have to grow into a more developed person before I can correctly type myself and other people: I focused on improving myself because learning about other people felt too much work 😂. To be honest, I was already kind of aware of what kind of person I was so I didn't bother using a foreign typology to define myself during that time, it felt too much work but it was intriguing so I kept learning. Since, I started watching Nathan at the end of January this year, his videos on MBTI taught me that MBTI is a useful tool that makes people understand who I am and in turn, allows me to understand other people. But I can also choose not to define someone with MBTI if it doesn't fit them too. This freedom was a breath of fresh air and I wanted to know what kind of person was this guy to teach me such a perspective. I posted this before googling his type 😂 He is an INTP. Thank you for taking the time to write such an encouraging message, I love self improvement 😺. I hope we both learn more about what we want in our time on this planet.

By that time we will have lost all ability to care, even about your death.

Weaponizing truth? Cause most of the time people tell me to try to be less honest (even when I am not annoyed). Does that happen to you? But, yeah. Jeez, it's one of my fears when someone gets on my nerves, that I will blurt out all their insecurities and make them regret... basically everything. It doesn't happen often now because I've constructed my social circle very carefully, but there are still some people, like, say, my mum whom I don't really like, and who pushes my buttons like no one else. Thankfully, I seem to have some genetic/innate reflex to just let her be and cry in the darkness once I've left her company, but I'm worried one day it won't kick in and I'll just react. Not sure there would be going back after that.

@@pitulanek yea, I have it well under control and mostly if I'm really done with someone I just remove myself from their field, world, social circle and disconnect completely, which is a harsh punishment, but much better than breaking them down to the bone with hot flaming Truth bombs, which often is of course only our version of the truth, but put so well that it twists reality as we speak it and it becomes truth. It's so destructive it's the worst.... I think the person that gets the worst of me is my mom too. We have a bad dynamic that we are stuck in, she tries controlling my every move I feel and I get super feisty in all the bad ways. It's hard to transform this dynamic but I really want to because she deserves much better

When he talked about INFP, I realised that...its actually practical enough to cause suicide. Wait....why does NGE & Monster come to mind?

Ah yes, subterfuge. Make your enemy believe you are their best friend. Then one day, they just stop breathing. Whether it's from a slow trickle, or manipulating others into doing the dirty work.

I like how you just casually said “infj’s your Angel of death” then moved on to the next type lol

INFP: So, you'll play Elden Ring for fun, but if *I* tell you that: --The world doesn't have mercy on "good" people for their goodness --That good intentions don't bring back that NPC who died horribly because you tried to "help," --That institutions considered above reproach will often defend the status quo, in which someone is always being abused, and are thus inherently abusive themselves, and, --That everything great and magnificent falls to ruin ...it's attempted murder? I see how it is. 😪

No offence I enjoy your videos, but why do you make these videos? Why are you so interested in these personality types? And what type are you?

INTP with plenty of experience killing plants, which I generally accomplish through neglect... 🥸 The "life is but a dream" approach is more that of an ENTP who just loves messing with people. I don't have the energy to convince anyone of anything.
