1:20 even when wadi isn't there, he still is lmao Edit: OMG That was so smart by Gluto at 5:37 after that footstool he knew that Kola needed to recover and use a double jump and even ignoring that I'm pretty sure waft still has Invincible frames in the air. What a good play man.

Kola looks so scary to go against, he is in your face the entire match but then randomly just backs off and reads your air dodge or roll and punishes it. I don't think i've ever seen a match where Kola doesn't take at least 1 stock

Exactly, pairs really well with his character, no one is safe from Mkleo though. Kola got three stocked in losers finals at Glitch Konami Code. The Byleth goes too dummy 🥶

@@wampty8298 Kola is SO close to be MkLeo level, he's got the movement, he's got the mixups, the combos, the reads All he needs is stronger mental, like we see in the end his gameplay changes drastically as sets go and become more stressful, MkLeo wouldn't fall to that

I knew kola would of been one of the top players after coming out of quarantine, he's just insane. Never room to breathe playing against him and he's extremely precise with such a quick character. It's so incredible to watch easily one of my favorite players to watch always enjoyable.

Roy is such an in your face character, and it allows Kola to plan ahead and be ready for your reaction to what he is currently doing lol. Playing 2 or 3 moves ahead, that's top level play

Well, he'd be at worst 2nd. At best 1st. That's literally his statistic lol. We've seen Kola can challenge him I think it would've been lot. But if everything else player out the same, I don't see Kola getting a bracket reset AND winning the reset over Leo. Has anyone ever done that to him? Probably considered impossible as of now.

If you don't play Roy, you would be amazed how much better Kola is than he even looks. I think he might have the best recovery mixups in the game, but nobody even mentions it.

As a wario main I do have to say that sword characters in general are hard to fight. I have been able to adjust to characters that stay mid like marth and sephiroth. Floaty sword characters like sora and toon link are easy to juggle. The hardest three I’d say is Cloud in third, Roy in second and chrom in first. A big part of warios game play is trading with attacks and then getting a combo started from it. But because Chrom and Roy have such good frame data not only are they able to keep up with wario’s aerial combos but they can also cancel his attacks by just spamming any attack button. Cloud is kind of slow so wario can hit him before the hit comes out. Roy always hits when wario hits so he stops combos. Chrom is like Roy but always gets significantly more damage because he always gets tippers.

Is Esam's problem at these majors stamina? He didn't look very good later into the sets that he lost.

Well, hard to say, because he also faced stronger opponents later in the tournament. Fatality has studied the Pika matchup harder than most people, and SDI's like crazy out of his combos where 99% of players would be stuck in the loops. Esam seems to have high highs, and lower lows than other players around the top 10-20. He's a very technical player, mastering a lot of tight input combos, but perhaps struggling (relative to the absolute TOP players that is) a bit more with adaptation/falling into patterns.

Kola is sick, but something about constantly pressing buttons (Roy) at every opportunity takes away some hype for me. I know this is how Roy is meant to be played with his insane frame data; this is just my opinion.

@@DavionLane that was the smaller one apparently. Not enough entrants to be considered a major. I think someone said 400 is a major and 600 is a super major. Someone else said how many other too players are there, but it's always a good amount at them, so I'd go off the attendance thing.

I disagree with Roy being well designed ot even top tier because of his sword mechanics rely on you being in your opponents' faces and you only have strings, jab combostarters and down throw to work with, his need to be up close and personal with sourspots that do nothing to spicen up Roy, unlike Marth, there is no real thought process or mindset with Roy.

"not even top tier" have you seen how early Roy kills. You're tripping if you don't think he's top tier, like he even has multiple players making top 8 at majors which is something you don't see in most other top tier characters. I guess it depends on your definition of a top tier because admittedly Roy does lose some top tier matchups pretty hard. I'll admit he's probably not even top 10 possibly not even top 15 either
