A lot of respect need to go to just how fantastic the costumes are. Lots of superhero movies today dont even have the actors wear their suits so I really appreciate that these are practical. They also perfectly represent their personality and powers

I think humanity is what gives them that reason not to wear their costume all the time. Like starlight. We never seen any of the other supes in normal clothing as much as her. But if you’re gonna have a masked hero why not always have him masked. Like MCU’s superheroes where 90% of the film they got a suit on and they don’t even have their mask on

@@ponejito24 the show is well thought out and better than the comics lmao. their is no chracter development in the comics, and the constant dehumanization and hate for the superheroes comes from the author's own bias (he admits it). the show actually gives everyone a personality, makes them seem human, and shows their motivations and struggles.

Nice spot. Usually when I see things like this on tv I find it cheap and lazy, but that's cause in those cases the overall show sucks. In The Boys' case, it somehow doesn't even bother me - I have to overlook it :D

Did you say the shows been faithful to the comics? xD Let see. SPOILERS: IN THE COMIC: Hughie is supposed to be an older scottish man that doesn't even like Americans. Frenchie is a crazy murderous bastard. "The Female" was a member of the boys all along. M.M. is not married, his wife's a drug addict and he has a teenage rebellious daughter. Stormfront is a man and long dead. (Homelander is hir clone) The boys + Love Sausage (who was just a glimpse in a mental ward) killed stormfront. Mallory was also a man. Noir is homelander's clone and a ton of the bad shit Homelander gets blamed for is actually him doing it. A ton of the characters in the show aren't even remotely like they are in the comic. The only one that really is, is Butcher.

Took forever to find the time stamp but take a look at 7:48. Muzzle flash is showing when the gun is masked by Homelanders arm. It is a great show and the guys did a GREAT job on the FX. Just goes to show you, mistakes happen...
