In the Coptic Orthodox church We fast 45 days before Christmas 55 days before Easter 15 days honoring virgin Mary and every Wednesday and Friday during the year

I needed to see this. I am starting my internship next month and I know this is what I need to do. I wanted to start a water fast actually, attempted today, and forgot I was still in my cycle so I've decided to start my Daniel's fast tomorrow until day 21. Hey, I would fast until a certain time and break the fast at the same time each day. I personally didn’t eat during the day until I broke the fast 💕

It's basically a raw vegan fast. No salt no sugar no processes food. Only alkaline grains

Hey, I wasn’t working thankfully during my fast. Blocking the world out will help significantly but you could do it without doing that ☺️
