This team was fun to watch. To bad the NBA robbed them from getting a ring, by rigging the WCF against the Lakers in 2002.

@@doomnotron @DOOMNOTRON Game 7 would not have happened. The series should have ended at 6. The kings were really terrible at the line in that series. Especially in game 7 which I said, should not have happened. Game 4 was the kings fault blowing a huge lead I admit that. Game 5 Lakers got robbed? Smh. I don't think so. @@doomnotron @DOOMNOTRON I gotta agree with that adelman situation. The last time I saw him choking, he was coaching the rockets. Yes that's how kobe and shaq plays that is why they are one of the best 1-2 punch of all time. I can't deny facts about them. Webber was a choker his whole career and im not a big fan of him. If the you're talking about the screen of webber against fisher, that's not an offensive foul to me. But 27 free throws given to LA, offensive foul on webber in the last 3, minutes, the elbow of kobe to bibby for just that last play in game 5? Not a good trade for me. He was a bench guy I never heard of, then all of a sudden he was good in the playoffs for Sacramento, then he disappeared again and was on every team in the NBA, then he showed up in Orlando like 10 years later and was really good again and somehow hadn't gotten any older, and his name changed from Hidayet to Hedo, and he kept getting taller every year. from 6'8" to 6'10" to 6'11" at one point. when they invert the big men with the double high post, is that still considered "horns"? Adelman was such a underrated coach. He'd have at least a couple championships if it wasn't for Phil Jackson. he never over-coached and had some awesome balanced teams with great passing and tenacious fast breaks. His main problems had to do with how his teams managed end of quarters-- like Nellie and George Karl. Doug Christie wasn't the "worse starter", he entered in the league being a slasher and then, when he started playing with bigger stars, he became a defensive specialist and a reliable 3 point shooter. He was smart enough to back off and let the more talented players lead the game, while keep contributing for the team. Who do you think had the task of guarding Kobe Bryant in that serie? Stojaković was effective only on the offensive side of the court, so I put him at the bottom of the King's starting five.

Blackwatch honestly kings would have beat Lakers had their shooters been more reliable. Every1 in kings can pass well but not everyone can shoot. Even their greatest shooter, arguably peja can disappear and is just a spot up shooter. Bibby maybe the second best shooter is a mid ranger . There were many well passed shot that were missed. Gsw plays similarly where they split the d and everyone plays hot potato and use the extra pass without playing iso Ball but gsw can hit buckets

They basically ran a slower tempo of what the Warriors currently run. Kings only weakness and it was a small one but they didn't have a SG who could get his own bucket when needed. That's what separated the the Spurs from the Kings during this period in the NBA. Spurs had a young Ginobli who could get his own shot or create and at the very least draw a foul. Kings had Christie( a defender) Stojakovic(sharp shooter) neither could get their own shot which put tremendous pressure on Bibby to carry the scoring load in last 2 minutes, same personnel bug derailed the Clippers the past few years.

Alot of teams dont have physical wings who can score at will,Chris Webber was great as a big but choked routinely in big games and left bibby forcing tons of shots

Do a video for the threepeat Lakers. These Kings were great btw. So versatile and skilled. They were also incredibly deep. They had about 8 quality rotation guys and no holes on their starting unit.

Just like the Splash Brother era Golden State Warriors. Difference is, the Dubs won titles to go along with their unselfish, team basketball ways.

"including Christie who is their worst starter". Christie was the man. He gave 100% every single second of the game. He was half of the king's defense on his own. Christie was essential to this team and was a rightful starter.

sounds like the perfect offense for the Sixers, with soo many bigs, and Ben Simmons being 6'10 this would be awesome to see, Barring that Jahlil Okafor stays and Embiid shows up

If the Pelicans had a Stojakovic type 3 point shooter this could be AD and Boogie, the 2 big men that can pass/shoot. Beautiful basketball right here

A Drag screen is when a dribbler is being followed by his potential screener, he dribbles in one direction and "drags" his screen along with him. The action reverses, sometimes with another player most often with a dribble change of direction. The "drag" screen is then set. These are NOT drag screens.
