fr theyll get beaten half to death by the villain but somehow the second they remember that they have friends theyre the best fighter on earth and have no injuries
Master: "After collective defeat for 2000 years, we have decided that we can't defeat him." Also master: "If you want to defeat him, you will have to master a skill I have totally mastered." I have several questions, but I will not ask.
i feel like this is accurate too 'you are attempting something that nobody has managed to do but here's the roadmap for how to do it conveniently laid out until the second-to-last step, where i will profusely disagree with you on whether it's possible' won't last too long though, the protagonist breezes through that part with a bit of suffering and a few flashbacks
@@FuknKms Villain isn't actually a villain. Just beat the master to that 72 inch plasma screen tv on black friday one year. Dude just wants to watch netflix in peace
The master may have the skills but is low on strength and agility due to old age... His physical strength cannot support his knowledge and skills put to action for long, But the youngling has the fatality and vigor with little or no skills With his youthfulness + skills, the odds of winning favours him more than his master I think...
@@SuperAdam2468 like in Kill Bill where she failed to mention that she was taught the heart strike thing until the last second and the final death scene wasn’t even bloody or intense like the whole rest of the film, just him standing up and dying.
Props to Caleb for duplicating himself in all these videos and getting his clones to memorize a script. Also props to Caleb for growing a beard in this one.
I immediately thought Yusuke, but then I realized he was in incredible pain for days, and even when he had the choice to stop the process, he chose to go through it anyway. And then had to sleep a long ass time on top of it because his body was so exhausted from the shock of his experience. He went through a version of this whole thing, but goddamn if it wasn't super intense to watch.
The villain: Trained for many years to perfect his skill and has many years of experience Also the villain: Loses to someone who learnt their skill in 10 minutes
This is one of the reasons I like Star Wars so much. Especially in the OT, there's never a situation where Luke is actually powerful enough to single-handedly overcome anyone skilled and/or very intelligent through external means, and he is forced to win through the use of internal, psychological conflict while consistently getting his ass handed to him every time he gets a bit too arrogant about his abilities.. Death Star? He goes around bragging about what a fantastic pilot he is, but he'd have fucked that up if Obi-Wan hadn't intervened and instructed him to use the Force. Hoth? Starts with him almost freezing to death in a desert and being saved by Han despite having a lightsaber, then again his pilot skills prove subpar when he's shot down and almost gets crushed. Bespin? I feel like I don't even need to explain this one. Jabba's Palace? He over-estimates his ability to mind trick Jabba and so his A plan backfires spectacularly. The only reason he comes out on top is a mix of him being prepared and being able to improvise with what he's set up (remember, he never expects to be on the sail barge, his plan is to get his sabre and cut Jabba down in his throne room. Unfortunately for him, Jabba doesn't give him the chance.) Endor/DS2? He's nearly electrocuted to death and Vader has to save him. Also despite believing himself to be calm and collected, the Emperor has no issue convincing him to lash out in a fit of rage almost immediately. Point is, Luke's strengths are never being physically stronger than anyone. They are his faith, intelligence, and mental tenacity.
Problem of the original Star Wars is more the antagonist side. They are all stupid and incompetent, that includes Vader, no matter how threatening and evil he looks. The protagonists win, because the antagonists are retarded. In the original movies its just entertaining enough to ignore it. In the latest one you also got shit protagonist on top of the stupid antagonists, what makes it unbearable (well, if you care for story telling).
I loved this and I loved how accurate this is since the main characters are mostly able to do things that others failed even though they usually went through the right method and technique. And I loved the ragdoll physics and the clothes/costumes
I like how you say 90% of the show because there's still some that took a more realistic approach to power/level up, and any attempt of a sudden level up would literally cause harmful sideaffects to the mcs instead of mere boastful talks.
deku? "here's you're level up, deku: you were given power, but...boy, is your body weak! you can't even use your power cause you're too weak! Hahaha--" **gets all might angry for trashing on his student**
As soon as I heard “come at me w/ full intent to kill” I was waiting for the clothes hitting the wall thing to happen and I was not disappointed. It’s like my favorite gag.
Lol I kinda like the guerilla style usage of props. It just makes it more funny. Like the one time he used chopped hot dogs and chopped off toes. Brilliant, lol
Probably yes, but also I'd say the magic of his videos lies in their simplicity (not that it's simple to create them whatsover, talking expensive special effects etc)
That's one thing Dragon Ball did well. No flashbacks. Want to remember things about this character's childhood and why the character who just died is so important? Then you should have paid more attention because Goku is about to turn SUPER SAIYAN!
This is why I like demon slayer, Tanjiro actually trained every day for a year and not for just a week. Even after all his training never once in the series was he anywhere NEAR the power of the strongest demon slayer of all time.
Bruh you’re making out to be like a single year is a long time. It’s not. For tanjiro to be able to take on some of the strongest demons after only a year of training is absurd. I’m sure that there’s people in the show that have trained for a decade and aren’t as strong as him. The show is going to end and tanjiro is still going to be a kid lmao
Tbf Demon Slayer made it's world to be less vulnerable to this trope, all the strongest slayers are in their 20s or late teens cuz the life expectancy of the Slayer corps is nonexistent.
"You'll explode and THEN die." "like, how much longer would I be alive after I explode" "That's not the poin--" "Would I be in control of each individual piece, or would I feel the PAIN of each piece?" "This is why your family died"
"Was that it" ".... Yes that was it" Bro the pure salt in his voice LMAO. You can tell he spent his whole life mastering it and then some random kid with God Ki shows up and masters it in 8 mins.
Wow, I’ve been subscribed for so long, I remember this video just coming out FINALLY after the banger video before it also, now that I think about it (after it’s been like a whole year since this video got uploaded) Goku as a kid drank that one DANGEROUS drink that could kill anyone who drank it SECONDS after they drank it but, he was THE FIRST person ever to survive it even after Master Roshi
The part where whenever they take the dangerous potion they always roll around like they are dying is so true. Its crazy cliche but it happens so often
To be fair, if the student killed the master, that’d be an interesting development for the main character, as if to imply he learned it so fast he never learned how to control it properly.
Yo Calebcity is the only dude that can get me invested in his characters in 2 minutes. Am I the only one that wanna know more about the shutter technique and what the villain did to this guy's family? Lmao
@@26mic i HATE every single one of YOU, stupid people advirtising their poor content on successful channels , seeking attention. if you really want to have a successful channel, you should improve your content and not seek cheap ways.
“We’ve tried to defeat this thing for years and we’ve had the specific thing to be able to do it but for some reason only used it when the main character showed up”
@@liedetecter7011 Yep. Pretty sure stands can't actually get stronger in the traditional sense. The user just finds new ways to apply the stand. If it's an Act stand then its whole point is to get stronger through evolutionary phases so that's an exception. Also the heaven ascending stuff where you basically get a reality warping stand after going through an MMORPG questline
Watching the West Wing, and man this is so true. The part where Sam accidentally kills Toby with the speech writing technique he refused to teach him was incredibly poignant.
This is LITERALLY The early series of Bleach when Ichigo had to learn Bankai which is supposed to take 10 years to learn but he learned it in 3 days lol.
Bankai in Bleach follow a parallel through the Jungian or Buddhist models of the mind and consciousness. Normally takes a lot of time to truly learn and master oneself. What happened to Ichigo was more akin to say, a satanic high priest inducing possession into a follower by inner demons/a principality. These are not the same, and it makes perfect sense why Ichigo got "his" powers quickly- it was a fusion of an experimental hollow and mofo'ing YWACH, being forced out by Urahara and co. It's not like either of those powers wouldn't want to manifest or the people training him didn't know how to force the issue
@@Dk_Thefirst that's not how this works. You just come off as a bottom feeder. Little tip? Mix your audio better. Music was too loud over your talking in the "short films be like" video. Consider content that isn't the same structure as Caleb too.
Alternatively, the master dies in the early stages of training, but has just enough life to tell the main character that he has the potential and must take after him before passing away. Despite being untested and HIGHLY untrained, the main character is suddenly better than he was just the other day.
@@bigchunguskeanureeveswhole1143 It was actually for a couple of months but still. At least his training made sense and that he truly wasn't ready . . . unlike a certain Mary Sue who had 2 1/2 days and simply mastered it all.
Sometimes when rolling over a mine soldiers would still survive after having multiple limbs blown off. Even after explosions which destroyed most of the upper body, adrenaline would keep the soldier alive for a few minutes.
@@intimpulliber7376 I'd say they just stopped losing all the time. That's not becoming op, that's just learning on one's own mistakes and progressing. By other anime's standards, those characters are underpowered, not op. And it would make sense for them to become stronger. Not only did they battle titans for a whole-ass century, they've also finally got access to all the new tech and info they could ever need. It'd just be stupid writing if after all those upgrades the Scouts would miserably lose again.
The author was winging it till the last moment after which he just slammed the ending he planned at the beginning of his manga without giving a moment of thought to the situation he was unfolding that or he croaked under pressure from his manga publisher and feminazis
Something else I liked about AoT is that Eren never really became a beast just because of being the MC. By the end of it, he wasn't the best at slaying titans with 3dmg or combat. Good, but not the best, he was just a kid that was unfortunate enough to be born to his parents. In other stories, we're given an MC with a blessing that masquerades as a curse/shortcoming e.g, Asta's antimagic and Naruto's demon, but Eren has an actual curse that masquerades as a blessing.

Honestly this isn't even a big deal considering how it was revealed in shippuedn that Naruto gets the knowledge of whatever his clones do which is why he made the rasen-shuriken so quickly and while i know he didn't use clothes the whole time for like the first one to two steps he is a prodigy in some things people just don't always give him credit for that.
Plot twist: The instructor's just playing dead so he can hide away because of how embarrassed he is with this kid learning a super powerful attack in a few minutes.
