side character: takes 20 years of hard training to master 1 ability main character: fights his master's villain 1 week into training and then surpasses him
“Rule 1: Never let your guard down even when surrounded by allies.” That is genuinely the most cliché shit *every* fighting teacher/sensei says in fiction.
Cliché but this type of advice is also actually said *a lot* in the real-world. Not the exact same cheesy wording, and the implications might be different depending on the context, but same essence.
@@angryboi595 Indeed. While one should be able to trust their friends and companions, that very trust can leave one vulnerable to backstabbing should it be misplaced.
plot twist: he is pretending to be dead and beats the sensei when he wasn't paying any attention and left a voicemail to confuse him and then he teleports behind him and holds the blade to his neck and says “rule number one, don’t let your guard down.” *credits to Mr. Yeezus for the last part.*
Me and my sister use to always fight when we were little. One day remember body slamming her on her head and hearing loud CRUCH. I looked at her face and her eyes rolled back and she wasn’t moving. I felt like the sensei. I left the room to call 911 and she got up. She said she was just playing but a 4 year old doesn’t know how to play dead with eyes rolled back on a crunch sound. Since that day we never fought again. 😅. So yeah this video hit home a bit.
@@AchedSphinx The first season of this anime/manga would be divided between the student living adventures on his isekai world, slowly training to be a main character, and his sensei trying everything to bring him back to life, in the end of the season the sensei is able to bring his student back but he is now trained as a main character and just in time for master Avocado to pick him up at the dojo. The second season revolves around Master Avocado being so impressed that his grandson was trained in so little time, that he keeps sending him back to train more, alongside new weakling students and now the sensei has to learn how to train side characters ecause now there are witnesses, while Avocado's grandson keeps trying to die by the hands of his sensei to be isekaied back.
i think this is close enough: kind me: *lets my 8 year old cousin basically bully me and hate me for about no reason* also me: ok stop now me:tries *to push her arm away* i swear i hit her on accident with *2 fingers* with a *light tap* and she just started crying and walking away... my 8 year old cousin: *comes back with revenge* also her: * starts swinging* me:bruh i didn't even hit you with 3 fingers and it wasn't even a slap so what is wrong? (true story btw and i was only 12 at the time)
man, that guy on the phone seems like a strong guy that would once forge a sword that is going to end up in a weapon shop that would only be for display even though it looks so equipped-able
This would actually work really cool in a story. Like the reason the main character is mastering all the challenges their teacher throws at them is because the teacher massively scaled down the difficulty level, because they ended up accidentally killing their first student. So every time the protagonist is like "c'mon give me something harder" the teacher just gets flashbacks to them killing their student and goes "absolutely not". Their journey could be about them moving on from the students death, and learning to trust themselves with giving others more difficult training challenges. So ye. Make a teacher who's afraid of challenging their student.
He’ll be aight, he’s just in the middle of a flashback about how the main character has always been one step ahead, even as a child. Ending with him trying to run after the MC from behind and reaching out before it fades to white and he wakes back up.
And realizes hes only barely got strong enough to fight the main villain long enough for the MC to arrive and save him and tell him "It's alright.Youve done enough.Im here now.
Or maybe hes like Kacchan(Bakugo) from My Hero Academia and is thinking that he is better than the main character and he knows he could beat the trainer and he is better than everyone...?
The main character: *studies for one day and knows everything* The rest of the team: *studies for 10 years and still can't be half as good as the main character*
Don’t worry, he’s just having a meeting with a magical entity inside of him that’s offering him the most powerful ability to ever exist because he is the chosen one: destined to save the world.
Sensei finds out he’s Main Character: Let’s start with the basics Sensei finds out he’s Side Character: *if you can’t cheat death you’re literal trash*
I mean, he right. Protag needs basics and the power of plot armor. Side character needs to know how to cheat death and some extra bullshit or he'll just die for character development.
He had the vibe of a man who just realized that he's going to need to use up all his vacation days finding the dragon balls so he can fix this fuck up.
Main character be like oh man I can't be as good as that side character...wait is that a rat jumping...Then following the rat for 1 minute now protagonist knows how to annihilate the world with 1 finger...he calls the technique mouse tail whip..he uses this move to save the whole town...everyone is impressed now...sensei is saying how a boy at the age of 10 can create such a legendary move...
The sensei that called was The master of the blade on the wall in the weapon shop of RPG skit. I like how he really has characters who really have history with one another .
Idk if I’m sad that it took me so long to find ur channel bc I didn’t have it until now or if I’m happy bc there were already so many vids when I got here.😁👍 Keep it up man!
Sensei: kills side character *Main Character Appears* Sensei: “ok todays training consists of you mopping the floors and doing a bunch of other chores”
Plot twist again: the one on the ground is the sensei. The guy on the phone is the pupil upset that he easily killed his sensei, pretending to be the sensei so his grandfather doesn't get him in trouble.
Sensei: “You are not worthy to be trained.” Guy: “What? I’ve been practicing for two decades, I gave up everything to strengthen myself and avenge my people. I have found the cure for cancer, I have ended world hunger, I’ve stopped the manufacturing of drugs, I’ve donated all of my money to charities. What do you mean I’m not worthy.” Sensei: “You lack the potential. Now, that 5 foot tall screaming crackhead with spiky hair and brain damage is far more worthy.” Guy: “What makes him worthy and not me.” Sensei: “Psshh, I dunno. I mean, he has a cool looking birthmark. That’s probably important to the plot or somethin.”
The ending after he found out he was the dudes grandson, he shoulda been telling him how he's training to be a great swordsman to feed his family and surprised he has time to train since he just opened up an orphanage and all this great kind amazing stuff about him while he's just dead on the floor looool
CalebCity bro I was sleeping on you for awhile even though I been a long time subscriber... bro you the truth! I will definitely be checking for everything you do and your content. Keep up the great work my guy. 💯👊🏽🤟🏽
He about to show a glimpse of his hidden power in an outburst before getting knocked out by his master, making the sensei realize his potential so in the next battle he fully goes all out
Oh god..reading that just started all those beautiful dark ost’s signally..”the change”. When the side character is about to become the main character.
