@@ThinkBRICS the most important benefit will obviously be the beneficiation of people of their countries natural resources. Cuts out the bourgeoisies and Oligarchs.
BRICS is now starting to realize the importance of helping each member nation attain their full potential. Starting with a mining and rare earth minerals makes perfect sense.
It makes sense to have a cooperative, coordinated approach to mineral extraction. Far better than multi-nationals given free rein to extract solely for profit. Sovereignty over a nation's resources that is a basic tenet of the group is a huge improvement over the "old way." The key, always, is a willingness to cooperate for the greater good.

@@MightySteve001 Conduct a simple show of hands in Europe on Exit Europe, Exit Nato and join BRICS +. I believe there will be no members left in Brussels.
BRICS initiative on consolidating and regulating global mineral usage should include a)take back market price control currently dominated by dollar or Wall street capitalist rather than actual owner and producer, and b)encourage applications focusing on technology innovation or improvement in energy generation efficiency or conversion efficacy, and industrial apparatus capable of better harness renewable energy to reduce greenhouse effects.
Waooo, the information you dissiminating creates great awareness and hope amongst oppressed mations and even people living in westren imperialist countries.as always beautyful dressing. Love and respect.
In the real world, the mining industry is important for the environment. Niobium makes more efficient materials. Nuclear industry (which requires uranium) demands less infrastructure than wind and solar and produces more energy (and more constantly). Stanford University said that a nuclear power plant reduces greenhouse gases from the electricity sector in California (the richest state in the USA) by 10%. I liked the idea and the new scenery. Greetings from Brazil.
The new ideas of young people and the opening up of countries. Its like you owned something and did not realize the true value of what was sitting right around your feet and mountains.
Western media: "(...) universal values (...) !" BRICS enthusiasts: "(...) coordinating development and distribution of strategic minerals thus preserving fossil fuels for critical chemical applications (...)"

To clarify, we're discussing two separate points: currently, fossil fuels account for about 84% of global energy consumption. Additionally, the United Nations and other sources predict that global energy consumption will grow by approximately 30% by 2050. These statistics highlight the ongoing reliance on fossil fuels and the expected increase in overall energy demand.
