@@L133.7 most anti-virus for android are simple data mining tools that uses systems resources and serve you ads. You don't need an anti-virus for android. An app can't have all the access unless you are rooted. Make sure no unnecessary permissions are given. Don't download apps you don't recognize. No third party apps unless they are trusted. Now if you are rooted and get a malware, that could be a huge problem and it might bind itself with the system files. Have to flash the rom again in that case. Remember Android doesn't give root access by default.
@Amazon Echo No, if they were given when you turned on the phone. Those are actual real battery savers. The ones from the play store, they are useless. You can do the same actions with settings on your phone.
We never really care about when an app wants to make phone calls, access photos or just about anything, but now I need to rethink. Edit: Ok 2 years later I realised it’s just me and I was dumb 😅
Really? Why tf would you ever accept that? Like how could anyone think that’s a good thing... any app that asks you that is probably trying to scam you.
@@whwhwhhwhhhwhdldkjdsnsjsks6544 true, once downloaded a game and it tells me to accept access to camera, location, make phone calls, seems sketchy so i just deny them all and uninstall
The dislikes are from the creators of those so-called malicious games Edit: the replies are now filled with jokes about the dislike button removed, this comment was made when there were dislikes
My dad might have some android malware on his phone. Ever since he installed two certain apps, which both asked for unnecessary permissions, and slowed down his phone. The battery has also been terrible.
@@bootyking2897 actually, it's because youtube is such a big app. and it takes up most of your data because it gives you more notifications than the other apps. or something like that
Huh I wondered why my uncle's phone was always so slow- My younger cousin always downloaded sketchy apps that I obviously knew were bullcrap but I never said anything because I thought that they would discover it on their own but n o - The phone got a lot slower drained battery slower and they just bought a new one and she uses that phone now- I don't think they know what malware is or they just think all phones are unstoppable-💀
ikr, when you try to find them and uninstall, these sneaky little bisches are like, "omae wa, mou shindeiru"....they just disappear...Gone, reduced to atoms! XDXD .. You can find them in the App manager section of Settings tho.
Dont download virus 12345.apk.hpho.tptp.h.exe.modpe.exe virus okay! Because i have one of those files and it had cursed videos on it now im cursed from 12345.apk.hpno.tptp.h.exe.modpe exe virus...

@@mina.loves._you no, if you really think that, show me android is not only used for phones and when it is on phones you don't need to spend 1.5K on it, it's only between 40-1k
Once I found a racing app and downloaded it and on the loading screen had a loading bar, on the top of the loading bar it read: downloading personal data and saving phone calls. What da frick were they thinking when they made this app. I immediately uninstalled it. My best guess is if the app ever gets into a lawsuit for malware they can reference the loading screen message and say that they told the user the app would infect their phone with malware so they would win the lawsuit. Another thing that supports my idea is in the description in tiny tiny font it read: disclaimer: this app may not contain content that the user many find satisfying. Also the name of the game was this (not exact name because it happend a few years ago): super car racing Drifting turbo car battle simulator. That name sounds kinda sketchy. Thanks for reading this comment I know it's pretty long.
In around 2017, I had a 2013 phone and in the middle of the night suddenly I was on RU-vid and I got a notification, it was downloading something named "credit card id, password, data, contacts" and what not. As soon as I saw it, I was scared as hell, I immediately took out the battery and killed the phone. I touched it after a week.
Whats funny is that i've downloaded one of those games on my mom's phone. Good thing she said that i had to remove it because it took so much ''Space''.
@@fortniteballs2861 yeah and im not complaining about the cliche whatever the younger generation does is stupid Phones can ruin childrens brains Social media like this especially imagine ur giving ur kid for babysitting to a random stranger thats the same as giving a kid below 15 their own phone
i also read CM browser sells data. Im using it for 3 years already because of speedy download and can detect any video then download it (except youtube videos)
As he said, the apps were downloading the malware from the internet. The package you installed from google play was malware-free. To protect you from this kind of malware, you need a real-time protection antivirus, wich google doesen't provide by default.
Game wants to : Access camera Access photos and files Access data Access location Access screen share Access media and Internet Access voice recorder Access password Kids : *Press "ALLOW" to play a simple game*
@@ayush885 yeah, I have a 5 year old one and it works really well and has 2021 software, but tbh if you have more money to spend there’s no reason not to get a newer one
Just for some perspective on how much harder it is to get an iOS app published over an Android app, the Apple developer account costs $99/year and the Android developer account is a one time fee of $20. This is at least what it used to be. I haven’t done any serious app development in a while, so I don’t know what it’s like now.
I bet the smarter hackers would probably create a playanle game, even if it's not the best of quality, so people continue to use them oblivious to the malware.

The apps that I install only want access to microphone and sometimes location. But I don't accept the location one. It might be the FBI wanting to know my location😂
I know you’ve already heard this many times but I’ll say this one more time. Top notch production quality. Music and bg sound is great Animations are straight out of Hollywood movies Excellent understanding of the problem and brilliant solutions. Enjoy watching your videos as always!
kevin mashru its ok, in about 14 billion years the universe will be nothing more than a fine mist of dust, were entropy will be at its max. Were the electromagnetic radiation from the distant stars will have faded away, and the ever lasting battle between gravity and the continued expansion and acceleration of the universe will have been lost, were most parts of the remaining, dust filled cosmos would be unreachable, protected by general relativity. Than, ur data will be safe, behind an allmighty enthropic barrier
This is really helpful for many people.....and will be a wake up call for those who download apps blindly from the play store.Thank you so much for making us aware of this problem!
@SoupOnCube Studios yo, i remember downloading Clean master from playstore a year ago when i tried to uninstall it the uninstall button cant be clicked and when i read the app info it says that its a system software
For what it is worth, I use the same security programs as I do on my PC : Emsisoft anti-malware + Adguard. They do awesome on my PC, I expect them to perform well on my phone.

Um, yeah I think this happened to me once when I had an Android. I have an iPhone now, but when I was a kid, probably 8 or 9 I’ve downloaded an app that helps people with Math. I got the app and then INSTANTLY I felt uneasy because the app icon disappeared, and when I tried to use the app, I instantly got kicked out of the app and my Android tablet started to heat up and go low on battery. Luckily, I found the app through the search bar on my Android tablet and deleted it in a heart beat. 😫😒😖
I got a call that said “scam likely” and another call that was like my phone number but I it’s a few numbers. I have a iPhone XR and a lot of apps. Can you make a video on how to protect your iPhone without vpn? And also l want to know a few App Store games that have malware. Thank you!
Definitely, fake calls, apple and your mobile carrier would *NEVER* call you if they detect viruses on your device, they'd just push out an update to fix it. Also, it's a common myth that VPN's make your data more secure, they don't for the average user you don't need one, it's only if your torrenting stuff (like illegally downloading porn and games), hacking or doing something behind your work's/school's that you need it.
Sorry. There is a glitch which will not let our users accept the TOS. Here’s The comment: hey guys dont download this app its malware dont accept the TOS.

@Tech Review India U cant restore internet and If you would there is no money that can restore it because theres no restriction.Typical example is dark web
Just look around you!Why don't you ask why there are so many hackers in the world?By the way, I'll answer your question.Because there are so many dishonest people in the world.
We can't live in a non-malware world because they are tons of smart lazy people who rather use their smarts to make a buck while working a minimum wage job
I'm mostly careful when an app asks for administrator rights on my phone. I'm downloading a lot of apps from outside the play store. Aptoide and ACmarket are two great stores.
