I've defo missed some ideas...Shenlongs on POJ monk, CoE in UE MS and Impale...I'm sure there are others. Hit me up with your cube ideas for extra power/utility in Season 31
Shenlongs grant a really huge buff, but it's probably impossible to channeling tempest rush continuously 0-100 while 65 Spirit is drained every second.
I understand why they nerfed the altar but at this point they should just put it back where it was and let the game be ridiculous. The leaderboards are full of bots still anyway, so who cares if everyone can do a 150? If they were going to immediately give us seasons like this upcoming theme I would rather see them put two themes together or buff the altar again. I’m not even going to play because it’s just not enough for me. Not based on what we have gotten lately.
You never disappoint with the new videos Filthy. The RoRG should be an Alter Of Rites node in my opinion honestly. I really think this season is gonna crash and burn. I like Diablo 3 and absolutely despise Diablo 4. I just think they need to remove the node for all items being level 1 and change it over to a RoRG node instead. After all, how long do you play at less than max level? Im gonna roll Helltooth with RoRG and Short Mans Finger on the character next season. The Grasp of the Dead Legendaries for the Weapon and the Mojo. The Grin Reaper, Mask of Jeram and Andariels Visage in the cube. Sub out the Hellltooth gloves for Tasker and Theo or sub out the Helltooth pants for Pox Faulds. Bracers and Belt with Guardians Set. Wall of Death and Grasp of the Dead with the three other Witch Doctor masks for a full poison build with Stinker Gargs and Poison Zombie Dogs is gonna be so much fun. Throw in that Gem of Efficacious Toxins, Enforcer and Bane of the Trapped and watch 'em fall. Sorry for the edits.
I agree with RoRG being an Altar node, but not for the level 1 items node. That's too good for levelling alts/season start. I'd rather it was the +damage node. It's not a node anyone takes early on, it's just adding 100 damage (or whatever the number is) to your weapon's base damage. In the endgame, this is not really noticable or impactful at all, and since nobody takes it pre-70 anyway, it's virtually useless.
@@jediraydenbut we played how many seasons without the node? Besides getting the set pieces takes a long time to get anyway, regardless of crappy items out of Haedrigs.

I'm just saying it at least serves a purpose, whereas the other one I mentioned serves essentially no purpose because nobody takes it pre-70 anyway and once you reach 70 the buff it provides is essentially worthless anyway because it's just flat damage added to your base weapon damage. The level 1 items node at least guarantees a smooth levelling process for the unlucky people who are not fortunate enough to get anything good from the CR cache bag "tricks". All I'm saying is I agree RoRG should be Altar node, but I think the one you suggested at least serves some purpose. The other provides us a buff that isn't even noticeable.
I wish they'd chosen to combine the open cube slots theme with either the 4th cube slot theme, or the free RORG theme. It would have been a good way to add a little extra something to some of these older themes that are, on their own, kinda underwhelming compared to things like Ethereals, Soul Shards, the full power Altar, etc.
@@jgteoh no I'm fine with the game being in maintenance mode, but compared to some of the more recent themes, specifically the ones I mentioned, open cube/4th cube slot on their own are pretty meh. It's no more of a new season theme than us having what we did in S30, with Altar, Visions and Soul Shards. Free RoRG or having the 4th cube slot season theme just combined with the open cube theme is just a button push for the devs. Sure, this would mean this theme idea of mine would benefit Necro even more, but it would also allow other builds to benefit a bit more. The only reason I even mentioned using the S16 "theme" (free RoRG) at all was because between Guardian's, Aughild's and Crimson's, virtually every set build in the game now takes a RoRG somewhere in their build, so you're either sacrificing those supplemental sets, wearing a RoRG and sacrificing either damage/toughness from a ring slot, or else you only have 2 cube slots to be "open". In terms of power, only a handful of classes/builds can actually benefit from this upcoming theme. Whereas those themes I specifically mentioned all offered huge power increases for the vast majority of builds/classes.
When the "altar returns" it's at the original power level. Now that it's just standard all of the +damage picks were nerfed. I agree adding RoRG would make this season way more interesting with the omni-cube slot.
You can put Crudest Boots in the cube (remove Flying Dragon) so you can free 2 slots for 2x 1h weapons (Shenlongs, Istavan's or Echoing Fury+Something). For Barb, you can swap Mantle for Echoing fury for Wrath of the Waste
Season 31 is definitely going to feel lame compared to 30. With the shards you had a sense of progression by chasing the correct shard and upgrade path.
@@crimsonram6106 wHICH OTHER game?? 2 weeks playing for people who dont have a plan and aim, i still playing season 30, i finish 150 solo with several build, also doing 2 man, 3 man and 4 man on rang list, its take to much time to make perfect build because i have 2-3 hours in average time to play, i need much more then 2 weeks..
@@dzonib9595 oh we do have a plan.. to finish journal and hit the 150 2man, every season the same thing with my wife, only with 1 character with a particular build or mabye two.. okay maybe it's 3 weeks then
Your experience playing for two or three weeks doesn’t apply to everyone, though. Yes, many get bored. But not all even join at the start and not every season is the same like you think it is for everyone. Regardless of that this season will be boring almost immediately for me because the theme doesn’t do enough. Not enough of a difference maker in any build, whereas 30 had quite a few options and gem combinations helped with that.
Hope they listen and do something extra like you say like free Rorg or 3th cube slot. Most likely they won`t but we can hope. Plan B is to play D4 seasn 4 lol. Hopefully D4 will get a lot better. Jeezes the codes/aspect sytem is bad. Glad they learned a few things from D3:)
Got a cool idea for LoD wiz meteor build. I've put it together in season 27 and it never worked because it didn't have a good teleport CDR mechanic, and it was weaker than Tal, before Tal was nerfed. In 31 you can equip Aether and cube both the 2H weapons and then equip OoID, and since you're not handcuffed to any skills to make 6 piece work like with FB or Tal you have a lot of skill choice freedom to run explosive blast to proc OoID or sort of whatever else. Lots of gear freedom too, I think the setup I have in mind is going to be good. Man trying to add a channeling skill into a Hydra or frozen orb build to proc deathwish sounds brutal. Hydra is super tedious to play with all of the modifier attacks already, cant imagine adding another one, and Im not even sure if it'd work for frozen orb. LoD Twister build might be cool though.

Speedquake - Will make a video next season hopefully. It's Might of the Earth set, LeapQuake 2h weapon, Girdle of giants belt, Loot sock boots (in cube), Focus and restraint and In geom in cube to infinite Leap
If they made it so you can a turn RORG into a buff through the cube for a ring, like the stat buffs you can get from the cube. that would free up the third cube slot.
Delsere looks really promising. In this season I've managed to clear 150 solo both SC and HC with DMO Twister + Ord of Infinite Depth. Good toughness without Karini, good AoE, not so good, but acceptable vs RG. And season 31 will give DMO almost x15 damage multiplier via Etched Sigil & Death Wish in Cube.
I’m bummed I wasn’t paying attention to Diablo. I just started season 30 like a week ago. Para 1300 and at 132 for GR so far. I really wanted to solo a 150. Can’t get a ring of fire sliver to save my life though
To be honest it's just sad theme, most of the builds need their Kanai cube items unchanged. I'll go with wizzard on this season just to try out diffrent variations of frozen orb.
Would there be a viable build for WD that actually uses both gargatuans and zombie dogs (+optional fetish army) for the ultimate play build? Perhaps a LoN build?
barb wastes set takes Rorg, band of might and CoE in the cube and wears doombringer and ambos pride. u need like 2.5k or more paragon though because of the toughness but this way barb gets focus and restraint. and for raekors you can just take CoE instead of furnace. but yes, not alot of power here.
I cant see it clearly right now, but there should be some options w the inna monk. The lod monk i think there is nothing u can do with.. Anyway ill think ill start w monk.
Im done with this game. I dont get the point of playing this silly game. I played till paragon 1800+ then season update and lost the 'fun' from previous season. When the new seoson start, I need to start all over again just for 'small upgrade'. This keep going over and over. It should be like Black Desert or Lost Ark, doesnt matter what season update you'll have, the items, skills, features, stats will stay alongside you'll get new additional things in the game.
On monk you could put won khim lau in the cube instead of matle of channeling and then play with shenlong, that should be a huge damage boost with a little toughness loss
