I actually went to his palace 4 times because of events and met the sultan and the royal family during that event. During Eid Mubarak, the Citizens are welcome to visit during Raya and they serve delicious food. The Queen is always present during the Eid Mubarak event and shakes hands with the citizens.
People think that Sultan only spending his money for his good. As Brunei citizens,We get free Education,Free healthcare,Low crimes (almost none 😂),No riot or democracy. The peaceful country. Thanks to him,he do everything for his country 💕
I could see , and I am.american , how the sultan would be very generous to his people. He's very smart and is very well liked as a ruler..He simply really likes the best of all things. For his places shine . America really sucks when caring for its own people.
Before everyone commenting saying that he is wasting money and should focus on his county and citizens instead , yes he did almost everything to the country education and healthcare there is free and he helped those who in needs
thats my king, where government hospital cost $1, free education, helping the poorer and etc. plus i love my peaceful country brunei🤗. p.s just got all of my teeth recovery and surgery and it only cost $1. even now im facing health problem(cannot work😓)which the check up and treatment only cost $1.
@@farihinhajimohdlisa9017 true that, as long as our country is at peace and doing absolutely fine so far, we're truly grateful. That's all that matter.
@@canuwd2016 idk man but ur comment sounded like u hate Brunei. FYI, Brunei's economies are quite good and currently stable and fine, it's not sucks as u thought. But i admit it's not that great compare to the western countries considering our country is just a small country. But i found that it is an advantage to be in the small country.
On a visit to Brunei, i saw him once coming out of the gates of the istana in one of his red ferraris, top down. He waved and smiled to the stopped traffic. And yes he was driving himself.
I didn't visit Bruni but I have watched many videos and read about Bruni really the king has did so many thing's to citizens in infrastructure, services(free education, Health,Houses etc &people has high income. so don't compare him with Gadafe or Sadam.I wish long live to him. From Ethiopia.
I used to grew up in Brunei and he really had done a lot of awesome stuff for his country though. Back then almost all sports complex are free to access by anyone (and there's a few of them all over the country, big ones too), free admission to their awesome "disneyland" park and a very serene country under his leadership.
He bought a painting by Renoir, he made me happy. Renoir is my favorite painter. I mean all of them. And the Sultan of Brunei is my favorite monarch. When I look at Brunei, it reminds me of a Muslim village in Thailand on the sea. They prepared a wonderful feast for us there! I also saw the mosque. I spoke to the imam. I can't count how much money I gave to poor Muslims on my travels! Certainly more than Christians and Hindus, because I travel to the Islamic world often.
just 3??? oh well it high time I connect myself with y'all having its money in this world. please how can we contact each other if you don't mind 'sir'
Yeap you can search perumahan(housing scheme) £16 billion worth of 28,000 modern houses/terrace nationwide all to poors/landless. None of uploader can produce the video this tiny with 0% homelessness proven effort
"His Rolls Royce was custom made to his specifications"... All Rolls Royce vehicles are custom made to the purchasers' specifications, that's how Rolls Royce operates. None of their cars are the same, not even the colour. The colour is owned by the customer.
Young is Foolish Old is Wise As a bruneian, today our sultan have richest heart than anything he ever possessed during his lifetime. He shares his wealth to it citizen, free educations, free healthcares, no loan taxes, he wokes up at 6 early in the morning to go there and over there, when theres an event he open up his palace and allows anyone from the different countries to meet and shakes hand with him, yes.. standing in the same room for hours and hours, hes kind, generous, sincere to it citizen and anyone who come in our country. Today our Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah is now 74 years old.... when i was in his shoes i'll propably think the same things, on how foolish it is to spend all that money.. overtime you'll get tired of it! so tell me about it, does our sultan spends his money again for his foolishness, for his needs?? Like.. right now, present time?? No.... because TIME will always TELL
Yep that's where we live we have slow internet slow money and slow ATMs what I spend it if I was the princess: buying a mansion that has a swimming pool buy a iPhone 11 Pro Max and buy everything that's the expensive
The playground thingy is called Jerudong Park! My lil sis and our cousins always play pirate ship but me.. I play kid playground and rides XD bc I'm scared to go to the pirate ship they make it really high 😤
Nothing to proud of from this man. It's not a hard earned money after all. He was just lucky to be born into a royal family which happens to control all the country's resources and wealth. I am more impressed with someone who isn't rich but at least he earns every penny thru hard work.
Give him credit my goodness, I dont know anyone else who could carelessly and easily spend that much money on luxury cars and items, I mean he is the king of wasting money
At least Bruneian can live happily and prosperous. Free education, no taxes, car ownership rate are one of the highest in the world. They're given so much money from His Majesty. Why, are you a Malaysian or Bruneian? Trying to 'derhaka' to His Majesty the Sultan?
Hello as a Bruneian here.... what you have stated are not all true....his royal highness is a very caring person to all of his citizen and most of the country budget are used for the country development and the citizens, to the viewers of this video please not to be disrespectful to my king im glad i was born in Brunei darussalam and btw the istana nurul iman you show is'nt the istana nurul iman, that is our sultan omar ali saifuddien mosque.....
Did you also know that the Sultan also gives free education, free healthcare, helps people by giving them money and etc. In Brunei it's pretty peaceful although I do agree that the spending is over the top and he could give the neighbouring countries at least some money to help. Btw I'm not saying the sultan is a good or bad person for spending that much money and about the LGBTQ+ thing I think that only applies to the people who are Islam since being in the LGBTQ+ community is haram in Islam. I'm not hating on anyone nor being on anyone's sides, I'm just giving information.
@@ReospecMedia do you even know where I’m from? Stop making baseless assumptions when my country is ranked among top three in happiness, and pretty close to that in finance per capita.
Remember, life is all about looting rich people. They just produced jails to make you feel that stealing is shameful, so that they become safe.. The truth is, they also became rich by stealing..
Great video... The covid-19 global pandemic shut many financial institutions from functioning thereby rendering most people jobless & investors lost more than they ever thought of losing
Investment is the quickest path to financial freedom, the rich stays rich by spending like the poor yet investing! While the poor stays poor by spending like the rich yet not investing
Why does every creator of videos about Brunei, namely Sultan Hasanal Bolkiah, confuse the mosque named after his father with his palace? Istana Nurul Iman is a palace and every RU-vidr when they talk about it, they show the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the video. Others contradict each other and show both buildings as if both including the mosque were the Istana nurul iman palace. Before I saw where the palace is located, based on the videos, I was under the illusion that the mosque was right next to the palace.
Found these videos dope until I watched drew binskys review on Brunei I knew the royal family was crazy rich but it definitely does not reflect on the people of the economy, what's worse is that they waste *billions* of dollars on luxury cars one of the members even has a billion dollar car collection with cars literally just degrading and melting apart
pov : ur bruneien but u find everything quite not accurate 😂😂, 1st u didn't even show the Palace but u showed the mosque of the sultan father, 2nd is tht i want u to put, he spent his money on getting all the homeless and less educated peps by freely give them money and free education...
What would I give to be able to sleep through the night on the plane on my travels to Asia? I've only fallen asleep on a plane once. Only for about 3 hours, at the movie and it was already morning. Flight from Mauritius to Paris. In order to fall asleep on the plane, I would have to lie down. I'm surprised I fell asleep on the Indian and Egyptian train.
I'v said it before I'll say it again, If I had £5 Million id be the happiest person I know as Id have my own home not have to rent, have it furnished just how i like, help my family/kids, maybe have a holiday and or get a dog, as can't have one here. I would also be able to come of benefits, if only my prayers would be answered.
Dear Sultan, You drive a car built of gold, however, when the date approaches to you the cost of your funeral isn't higher than a couple of thousands. Whenever time you waste wealth, assume the cost of your last day of departing from the earth. You paid 17 million to Michael Jackson. If you turned over these funds to the needy families close to your neighbours, imagine how they approcaited your generosity.
The fragility of his wealth is concerning. As a world leader his fiscal responsibility is sad. Instead of building more wealth the is wasting it on consumerism .
