All the men when they complete 18 years old have to enlist to the army (You won't go to jail if you don't, but you'll lose some basic rights, like to study at a public university, to work for the governmet, to have a passport and some other things) But when you go there and tell them that you don't want to join the armed forces, they'll probably dismiss you. It's very very unusual that they will actually recruit a person who doesn't want to join
