If it's Dutch news it's fine since they are spelled (and pronounced) slightly differently so you instantly know which one they're talking about.

@2:00 obviously most euroids with interest in politics and geography know there is a US state of georgia, but generally will know more about georgia the nation, although also not that much , it's not generally part of the curriculum but theres some relation within history (ottomans etc etc) , for one because georgia the nation is fairly old als a consistent unit and generally sides with europe in question, the whole positioning of the region is wierd with turkey and russia in between but generally untill the ural mountains and especially before soviet russia the whole region was very much into european monarchical systems, hence also the flag relation with georgia
