This 13 year old girl reinvented the earring to become one of the youngest CEO’s in Japan. Mai is a Japanese middle school student who noticed a lot of her friends wanted earrings but couldn't get their ears pierced, since magnetic earrings get lost super easily. She came up with “MAIEARRINGS”, earrings that clip onto your hair. Despite only being 13, with the support of her parents she hand makes the earrings to distribute all across Japan.

Unconditional Joy Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.” -Luke 2:9-10 In the pages of Scripture, it’s one of the most common opening statements for angels: “Don’t be afraid.” That’s because when people saw angels, they were terrified. When an angel appeared to the shepherds outside Bethlehem, he said, “Don’t be afraid! I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people” (Luke 2:10). In other words, “This is good news that you need to know so you can have great joy. Even if you don’t feel like it, rejoice, because your world just changed.” Sometimes we can be filled with fear because of the world in which we’re living. There are a lot of things happening today that can strike fear in our hearts. We also have personal fears about our jobs or our finances or our health or our families. Are you worried right now? Are you filled with fear? The message of Christmas is don’t be afraid; instead, have great joy. Fear is what Christmas came to remove so that we can have great joy. But the condition of that joy is to let go of our fears. Ray Stedman pointed out that the chief mark of the Christian ought to be the absence of fear and the presence of joy. In fact, it’s that absence of fear and presence of joy that marks our genuine Christianity and proves that we really are what we claim to be. It’s a powerful testimony when Christians can rejoice, even in the midst of adversity. Can people look at us and tell that we’re true believers? When Paul and Silas were thrown into prison for preaching the gospel, they were whipped and put into chains and stocks. There was no hope of their ever getting out. But the Bible tells us that “around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening” (Acts 16:25). We could also translate the word “listening” as “listening with pleasure.” When you hear one of your favorite songs, you look forward to hearing it again. These prisoners were listening with pleasure because they’d never heard anything quite like it. Then, when an earthquake shook the foundations of the prison and the doors opened and the chains fell off the prisoners, the jailer knew it would be death for him if the prisoners got away. He was about to commit suicide when Paul called out, “Stop! Don’t kill yourself! We are all here!” (verse 28). The Roman jailer said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” (verse 30). In other words, “I’ve been watching you, and I want what you have.” Joy is a magnet that God has given to believers. Nonbelievers have nothing like it. They have their moments of happiness, but that happiness completely depends on their circumstances. When the Bible speaks of joy, however, it refers to something far deeper than that. It’s an abiding joy that is independent of our circumstances. The joy that we experience in Christ can be ours, both in good times and in bad.

I would be lying if I said that I don’t have any gripes about seeing someone as young as she sacrificing her youth by already having such a demanding job, but it’s very clear to me that it’s something that she wants and loves to do, and she very much appears to have the necessary skills, maturity and support from her family to make everything go smoothly. More than anything I’m really impressed by her story and I wish much success in her career and in her life.
@cosmoticking7012
@cosmoticking7012 5 месяцев назад
In my opinion, working really hard when you are young like that is the healthiest path you can take. Most enjoy their youth, and when they reach adulthood... the rest of their years is spent grinding away at a demoralising job with a basic pay, and then spending the rest of their time struggling to do anything productive. On the other hand, she is working hard now, and will likely have enough money to support herself in a luxurious life, with the built up skills of discipline, mindfulness etc, so when she is older, she can scale down her work hours to a point where she barely works at all and can enjoy life for 10x longer than any child could in their 18-25 years of youth, at a much higher quality because of the mental fortitude she developed as a child. It's fascinating, she is on such a good path. I pray nothing takes her off-track.

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k,but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million

I am amazed at how the Japanese parents can really educate their kids into quick way to respect others, take care of themselves, even go to school or home alone from age of 5, clean up at school after play or finish, even in kindergarden saw that, when was in Japan. Even in high school in most places at end of class they clean up, respect the teachers too. ❤

There’s a differences in parent who supports their child financially to start a business at 9years and who doesn’t. She’s lucky to be born into parents who believed her and have the finances to help her start it. Nowadays there are social media and electronics, not like in my time.
