A big part of our time on the mountain is making sure that she knows it’s okay to fall.
This season Cash has turned into a little jumping bean. She has been following her dad off of everything that has a little lip or bump. On this particular run she had hit the park but then lost her speed toward the cat track. Once we met up with Nick on the next run after the cat track she was super bummed that she fell.
You can hear how Nick talks her through the falls. We all fall. No matter what level of rider you are you had to start somewhere and even the pros fall when they are pushing their limits. So it’s so important to know that falling is a part of the sport and a learning opportunity to help make you a better rider.
As you can see. Once she decides she is okay that she fell she goes into full send mode! She is stomping the jumps and getting much better at handling choppy terrain at high speeds, which is pretty impressive.
We are beyond proud of her and her ever growing tenacity to keep going. She loves snowboarding and that fire is starting to burn bigger in the goals that she is creating for herself. We will be here for whatever journey you choose and are so blessed to get to learn from you everyday on how to enjoy life to the fullest!
