The original song was such a banger, I didn't know it was original and till the woman said it and I was just so blown away. Such a good artist, loved the tunes
The song is by Foy Vance an Irish artist but made famous by Ed Sheeran in the series Sons of Anarchy. Still this guy is super talented - a great version!
When he "walks on the edge of the notes" at times he reminds me just a bit of Kurt Cobain. Cobain used to almost seem to be bordering on off key, but sounded so unique, if that makes any sense.
Wow, his voice is PHENOMENAL. A lot of voices are great, but they don't captivate. His voice is captivating and carries sooo much depth. Amazing. So glad he won. He deserves it.
It would have been interesting to see who he chose if Olly or Will were able to turn around. I think Tom may not have known what to do with him. She did a great job with him. He was great and his cover of Make It Rain is my favorite of all. Wish he would have done the entire song.
Not at all ! LOL She picked trendy songs sfr asked him to fit. She did not pick songs did his voice, but he’s so versatile he could adapt to such high songs when he’s clearly a blues singer
I don't see enough acknowledgement for that performance of "Train Wreck". Oh my gosh. To be able to lay down like that and still sound so steady???? He's amazing. Well deserved
I think this guy is one of the best, very original, and creative winners of The Voice UK. I’ve watched his final song few times and I’ve never done it with any of the others. I’m even watching this video again now. I hope he’s doing well with his music. Wish him success!
As I agree in a way.. As a singer you also need to share that feeling with the audience. You will be able to keep the voice with you if it is your emotion for yourself. But sharing what you feel with the audience through your eyes, as actors in a movie, you will get the votes needed to continue here. On stage as a professional singer it will be different as you will mostly be an Audio Only thing. But yes I agree. Feeling the music yourself is a key thing to express them further through voice.
@Gareth Tucker Absolutely true. Most people sing in the shower.. It wouldn't work too well while on a scene during live performance however.. I think..
Did you guys noticed that every week Craig's putting a smile on his face very often which is good. He overcome his anxiety through music and I wish that everyone could also find their passion on something that will make them move forward. Congratulations Craig!
Every performance was flawless, and then, "Lovely' took the audience out of this world. I think Craig Eddie is probably the best voice of all time and all shows. It only takes 1 chair to turn to reach stardom. Thank you for taking the audience on this incredible ride, man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best voice isn't necessarily the most trained voice. Craig was raw, unique and he had great range...love the rasp! I'm partial to blues and rock and would absolutely pay for his music, *especially* after hearing his original song in the finale! The first and last were the best imo as Craig knows what suits his voice better than anyone else.
I love how Anne Marie said she'd choose the very unique one. She choose him because of his gifted unique talent and she knows how to make him shine on stage and personality. The Voice, you should keep this kind of coach. So there won't be another "Claudillea mistake".
@@markkk1693 Claudia if he was refering to the blonde beauty girl who could sing opera and pop. Don't feel sorry for her a she has had a lucky escape from the music industry and fans as she already had a much better life in NSW surfing every day.
Nice sentiment but once he said he produced his own music I peeked his intent which was revealed in the final when admitted the purpose of performing his original work. EXPOSURE. He knew someone would turn around for him and give him the opportunity to promote himself. They as well would benefit if he won. He did and Anne-Marie has bragging rights.
Based from Olly's professional observation and his saddest emotions for not bein able to turn after hearing Craig's blind performance, was a forecast for The Voice that made him already the winner!
Wow! The fact that he did his OWN song for the final and STILL won is AMAZING!! It is such a risk to do something that no one knows! Good for him!! I hope his contract lets him make HIS music!!
This guys voice whether it’s singing or speaking is velvet in my ears.i want his album and I want to be his best friend like talk to him everyday over coffee. God bless him. God made you for a reason.
Best Billie Eilish cover of Lovely I’ve ever heard.. and I’ve heard a lot of phenomenal ones. He makes the performance so effortless, you get lost in every note, every word, every “moment”. Thank you for sharing your story and your gift to the world 🙏
During the finals, who is that guitar player? I love how he focused on Craig. Small detail, to some. As a guitarist, I can appreciate that level of communication.
I kinda felt bad for the James guy during the battles, he sounded so desperate and nervous. The dude's got in on the competition, even if he lost mid-way, that in itself is still an achievement he should be proud of rather than letting his defeat get the best of his confidence.
The best part about Craig, is his ability to envelope everyone around him into his music. Like when he sang Trainwreck, the guitarist just seemed so into it. Like I get its his job and all and most likely his passion, but the way he was just jamming with him and visibly enjoying the performance was amazing
He made me cry when he sang "lovely" . Soooo moving.. I am a fan the way he sings. He could instantly connect with my emotions. My tears burst instantly as he sang the chorus part. One of the best and I agree with Anne Marie he is a unique singer, he sings from the inside with pure sincerity.
I actually could see a very young Aaron Paul in his eyes..from Breaking Bad. It was driving me mad trying to figure out just who he reminded me of. The eyes... the window to the soul.
He reminds me of a new young fresh Ed Sheeran and James Arthur so glad anna Maria turned for him he’s has a special future ahead of him congratulations on winning the voice best voice in a while
Normally I skip just to the music bits but he’s so genuine, even hearing him speak draws me in. So glad he’s so brave and courageous. Need more of him and that voice 💜
WOW!!! I don't watch TV, But Craig pulled me in and Made me a fan. I am ready for his music now. If and when you come to Vegas for a big show concert., Please let me sit in the front row. Thank you for letting me see you blossom in to a wonderful masculine Flower of spirit and talent. You shined!!!!!
His original was the best song of ‘em all LOL yeah, I hope he’ll be able to do his thing and they won’t try to mold him to fit their mainstream pop business. He’s edgier than that and I like it. Please let him be himself!
One gotta love his parents. They are truly beautiful. Thank you all for being there, and thanks, Craig, for not depriving us of such a voice and beautiful connection.
The heck, why do I shed tears with his train wreck performance, it sucked me man. I too, battled with depression and anxiety 3 years ago. That was extra special!
I loved all of his performances! He is a true artist. The final duet with Anne-Marie was amazing! They could record that. Truly you were worthy of winning the Voice Craig. You have a great talent
Wow...holy smoke..this guy would be a good front man for a band...can you imagine! His style..the way he owns that stage...yep...he's got it! Good job Graig
I HAVE to keep coming back to this since 2021. He's a musical genius. And I LOVE how Anne Marie has a crush on him hahaha toooo cute, she's flustered by him and that says a lot, Craig! Keep being you man, you're an angel
“My heart is so full of love for him” awwww, his mom....how lovely is that? They are like the sweetest loving people! He deserved to win by the way...his voice is really really good.
How have I not heard him before, he gives me chills everytime he opens his mouth. It's so crazy, he's not only a great and unique singer but also how he connects with each song, it's nuts, it's like that's all that exists in the moment for him.
Being someone who suffers daily with depression and anxiety, I felt every emotion he felt. These songs he performed related to his personal life, I could see the pain in his eyes. I'm so glad he win! He makes magic! I'm definitely a fan for life! Easy on the eyes as well!
He is just simply the best. The whole world now knows his name and all behind him. He is a deserved winner. He just has a unique voice. So special. Great job young man. Love ❤️ from Australia 🇦🇺
I don't know where I've been for a year and a half, but I'm glad I finally showed up here! As someone (now 50 years old) who has suffered with anxiety and depression since I was a young boy, Craig's story is so inspiring and hopeful to me. And what a voice! One of the finest artists ever on The Voice.
Such an equally arresting performer: voice artistry and vulnerability in one. You are the REAL thing. I will be looking forward to anything this true artist puts out. Congratulations Craig that victory was SO well deserved. Watching your career with interest!
He is amazing! And not just because he’s a fellow Scot. Oh no. He has that something different in both his style and his voice. You feel what he’s singing right along with him. He definitely does not have what one might call a “traditional” voice. But it’s his voice combined with his style and depth of emotion when he sings that truly make him stand out. It takes a lot for me to get really excited over a male vocalist. I have top five and ten female vocalists who are all powerhouse singers. Well, so is he. I wish he wasn’t in the UK. That he’d been one of the contestants here in the States. I really hope he goes international. The whole world ought to be able to hear him sing! Congratulations Craig!
I never comment on these things, but you're something else - thank you for being so honest about your struggles with anxiety. You killed it every single time you walked up onto that stage.
His last performance was amazing. It being an original is extraordinary. I just thought it was a song I hadn’t heard and needed to buy; turned out I was right
Craig, you're amazing. I have multiple psych diagnoses including bipolar-2 and PTSD, and can totally relate. I stopped singing due to some nonconstructive criticism I didn't now how to deflect. I'm 52 now and wish I'd not been so fragile, but you know.... It just is. It's terrifying for me to be the center of attention, so it takes next to nothing to tear me down. There will always be careless comments, Craig. Know that you are tremendously talented and never let those negative comments be anything but helpful, please. Disown anything that isn't constructive because the critics' downers aren't your responsibility to entertain. And always always always place your talent and emotional health above all else. Virtual hugs from here to eternity, man. I'm really looking forward to watching your career from here. :)
Even though I am not Graig, thank you for this. Not sure how or why, but this gave me confidence. I hope he read your comment, he watched this video since he is the top comment. 🙏🏻🌈
Hey Craig, I've lived with anxiety all my life, and probably will until the day I die. Sure, there have been times when I've been down at the bottom of the pit, but I've always managed to claw my way back out. That's just the way things are for me, and there's no use in complaining. Only a strong man can stand up to his fate. All the best in your creative future. Life is a battlefield, so put your emotional armour on and go out and face the music, and make it the soundtrack of your life.
Drew! And Craig! You have all the strength inside to go on. I been to hell and back so many times. I somehow found the connection to God within. That has been my guiding light. I am not a religious fanatic! I keep it real. Please be in touch if you ever need encouragement and hope. Ps. Music also helped my connection to God & Life!
As a woman old enough to be your grandmother, almost from the first sound that your incredible voice made I said to myself ... he has to be the winner. Some of the other singers were really good, but Craig, your in a Premier League of your own. I was raised on music and although no way similar, I only had that hair raising experience with one other singer when first hearing him and that was Freddie Mercury. Congratulations on your winning The Voice. I hope 🙏 to be able to buy an album (kinda showing my age there) of your own works very soon. 🙏
She looks like the Presley women, is she related? She is on the voice for the first time and Tom Jones, Mr. Jones since his wife died is photographed with Priscilla, so why would these two be on the voice together? Is that young man to promote Anne-Marie and to help the young man, what’s going on?
An algorithm hiccup brought me here, but I'm making a mental note of the the name Craig Eddie. Hope Mr. Eddie goes more in the direction of the first song when he starts to record; I think his voice is more interesting when he lets it play a little rough. He could be an amazing blues or old-school soul singer.
The blind audition and all performances are just amazingly good but I'd pick the original song. WOW!! So happy YT suggested me this. Love everything about Craig, the voice and the personality. He's not afraid of showing his fragility and he is all the more reaching out to our heart & soul because of this.
Every performance I got chills! The amount of emotion that pours out of Craig is truly mesmerizing! And Craig's journey has been incredible!! I am so awe struck and he deserved to win 🥳 I'm so happy Anne-Marie saw the potential in him!
I'm so embarrassed that I missed out 4months ago this young man is the best artist I have ever heard and I'm 60 with a music background He is definitely an ARTIST Australia 💕 Christina
This guy is a super star I could listen to him all day everyday. From someone who suffers from depression and anxiety most my life it makes me so proud of this young man. Love love him🥰 ❤️♥️❤️♥️
I just want to add my congratulations to you Craig Eddie. It was a wonderful experience to watch you blossom through your performances. Knew you had it in you though! I am looking forward to your future endeavors, especially for what you alone, will bring to the world with your own songs. I really was impressed with your original song! So Thank you for coming out of your shell and being such an example! Bravo Dear One!
Anne-Marie said everybody was looking at him and he got over it. I think everyone is looking at him only because they want to hear every word he sings. Great pick UK..
Is noone going to mention his lovely mother and her beautiful voice. Also we would love to hear his father sing. Beautiful aura of entire family. Bright souls. God bless! ✌
What a Voice this young lad has. I enjoy listening to this video. Also, a Scottish accent is one of the best sounding in the world. Love your voice Craig.
The last one. His own song was🤩 He deserved this and i really hope this is the start of a life long and great adventure for him🤩 Wish him all the best!
Anne Marie's genuine delight in his voice from go up the very end was incredible. He is phenomenal and if that original tells of what to expect from him, I am all in!! Congratulations!!
Craig was great from the very first note I his blind audition, I knew he would go all the way. He has such a unique voice & a profoundly sic range! I loved every single song he put his voice to. He is an artist & was born to sing & entertain. He definitely deserved the win.
