The level of detail and clarity of communication in your “how to” vids is just amazing and highly appreciated. I’m an art teacher and I know how much work it is to plan out how to demonstrate and explain techniques! Great job!

Bought the polish and have been using it! Definetly make sure you dont do thin coats and Ive been leaving the coats with the magnet below my finger for around 2-5 mins
Hi, Simply! I got 2 magnets instead of 1! :) It seems they got stuck together during the packaging Just wanted to let you know about it. Maybe separating magnets with some cartons during the package assembly can help... Love you since the polish mountains! The polishes I ordered look gorgeous!
For the dome effect, you hover wand on one side of nail and then the other - but for how long? I don't imagine it would be a full 60 seconds on each side since that may mean it's dry before you switch to the second side. Does it not have to be long for this method?
What I do is, one side 2 to 3 seconds then immediately the other side for 2 to 3 seconds. If need be I repeat it all for a second time but magnetics dry really fast by air so speed is of the essence.
Dang it why are there so many amazing holo taco polishes, how am I supposed to choose which red polish to wear for my wedding aaaahhhh its a blessing and a curse. I wish I had more nails to wear many shades ❤❤❤

Hello, this might be a little random but... I just received my beautiful magnetic collection. It's stunning. I tried all the polishes on my nails (skittle style) and noticed thay the blue smells different than the rest. Like a rotten smell. Did anyone experienced this?
Does anyone know if the magnet works when doing swatches? If so, what's the trick because I think I may be screwing up somewhere. I've held the wand over & under, and I still can't get it.
I thought magnetic polishes were over-hyped: unless you get the cat eye effect to work (and to stay) the base colour looks like mud... and even using all the hints & tips you give here, the effect has usually dissipated (for me) after 24 hours. However, the Holo Taco polishes look so good even unmagnetised that I am prepared to give magnetics another go. Fingers crossed (and thanks for insisting on bright, non-muddy base colours!!)
Same here! These are the first I’ve tried and no matter how long I hold the magnet over the polish for both the base color and again for the top coat, the cat eye doesn’t stay. Although the color and dynamics still looks gorgeous.

Do you have to repeat 1 min magnet for every topper you use on top? I love layering Holo taco but 1 min a layer is a lot if you do 2 magnetic layers, 2 toppers and glossy taco 😭
No you don't magnetize the glossy top coat as the magnetic particles only move in the color coats and only while they are wet, not after they have dried. She showed the speed option in the middle of the video where you only magnetize the 2nd color layer :) The effect won't be as distinct compared to magnetizing both the 1st and 2nd layers of color, but will still be pretty and give you the speed you are looking for 😉
This video was very helpful! But I still don't think I got it. I let it dry over the magnet and I don't see the line at all. I'm Not sure what I did wrong. It's still really pretty either way.

Can’t seem to get mine to work :( Held it over for at least a minute and stayed steady but the magnets didn’t stay magnetized and it would work for a couple of the colors at all. Going to try again, hope to get it to work!!
I got mine to work after shaking the bottle, applying a real thick coat and holding the magnet at an angle It kind of works with a thin coat but the effect isn’t as impressive unless it’s a thick coat
Cristine has made the best metallic polish out there. I'm Serious. I've tested different brands and holotaco has the strongest effect and lasts 3x as long as other brands I've tried. I'm holo loyal in every way!!!
Just got my first magnetics in the mail this week and I accidentally bought some duplicates lmao I guess my coworkers and friends are getting some unexpected gifts this week! I regret not getting "queen's curse" before it was retired; I got menchie and zyler cat eye instead! I'm excited for zyler cat eye more than menchie because it is my only orange polish but menchie does match my cat's eyes so I had to get her's too!
I've tried the method of putting my finger on top of the magnet and hold it there for well over a minute, yet no matter how many times I try Queen's Curse, I can never get the stripe, not even a glimpse of the effect. What am I doing wrong?
i know i missed the train a bit, but i’ve noticed my magnetic effects tend to become duller/not as pulled together within a day. im not sure how to fix this or if its normal with magnetic polishes
1. I can't keep the wand steady enough and occasionally it touches my polished messing it up. I can't use the magnet underneath trick bc my fingers are too thick. 2. I held each layer under the magnet for a minute each, the top coat too and the line didn't stay defined. it faded, so the stripe is more of a blob in one general direction than complete line. Can anyone help me?
I tried to buy holo taco for the 1st time last night but aferpay rejected me and I don't want to spend that much all at once this close to the holidays. I have 8 nieces and nephews to buy for. I'm glad after pay is secured but I don't know what I did wrong. (I also know after pay is it's own company and holo taco can't do anything to help)

Absolutely love the collection, however, fairy tail and queens curse in my kit are not magnetizing at all :( They are beautiful shades, but I am bummed. The other three are stunners and work perfectly!
Ok so I have thick nails and long and nothing really goes on my nails I have to put lots of coats on. Holo taco is perfect for my nails the only issue I have is I don't have enough fingers to wear them all at once :( Absolutely amazing polish definitely best one I've ever used got so many collections now will keep buying it I will say holo taco is my addiction 😆 🤣
I’m so curious about what it would like like with a circular magnet-are there other ways to manipulate the polish? Does anyone know if Simply talked about that possibility on stream?
I can’t get the dome effect to last after everything has fully dried hours later. I usually do my manis at night. It looks great when I first finish for maybe 30-60 minutes, but when I wake up in the morning, the effect goes flat since the glitter disperses evenly over the nails and just looks like regular shimmer :/ any help? Do I need to buy two magnets to keep on either side so I can keep them on longer?
Both help prevent staining, but depending on each individuals body chemistry and porousness of the nail some base coats may work better than others for different people, and every nail polish is made with different pigments that vary in causing staining (bright magnetics are on the higher likelihood of staining side due to vibrant pigments). If you’re not sure and your goal is to avoid staining, we suggest doubling up on a base coat and trialing on one nail to test!
This is so cool! Sad that even the older releases are too expensive to get shipped to the UK. I appreciate they are more expensive due to the quality and being vegan and cruelty free but it would be £30 for one bottle with the black Friday discount.
