Sorry for the needless confusion. So my kids are big fans of JT. I was watching your video as they walked by and thought it was JT wrenching on motorcycles. I had to break their hearts after the video was over.

I did not include it in the video, it was a broken bushing that was causing it to seize up.

More than likely, yes. It'd be speculation on the cause. But I can say it didn't happen from regular use 🙃

The number 75 mm came from the service manual. The tool is called a fork oil level tool and measures the distance from the top of the tube to the oil level.

It was actually a broken bushing. It may have broken when the bike was crashed. I guess I should have included a clip of that in the video. Sorry about that 😕
