Make sure the fuse tap matches your actual fuse size. For my 2018 XLT the fuses are Micro2. I finally got the correct fuse tap and now the DRL are working correctly nice and bright versus the low beam being on all the time.
Need help from the group with the DRL. I did exactly as he showed, and I used 2 fuses, but then my check engine light came on... I'll head to auto zone for a check up, but any idea why that would have happened?
Hey, Just installed these on 18 XL, If i cut the parking and/or low beams on before starting truck the planks light up and stay on , but if i start truck then turn lights on only the right side plank comes on,
How are these lights holding up? It has been a while since you installed them. Do the drl’s still work? I have heard of the drl’s burning out after a couple of months.
So mine work exactly as yours when the car is off with just battery power. As soon as the engine is turned on the DRL’s deactivate and they won’t turn on no matter what headlight option i have it turned to. Any idea why?
Are you reffering to the one at the fusebox? Orientation does t make a diff as no matter what. the line is protected as it only gets power when key is turned.
