i really appreciate you making this simple video. girlfriends cherokee was rough idling/or would cut off at stoplights so i replaced this and bam. we’re chilling now
Thanks for info. Im not much of a car guy. I know the basics. An was looking at it thinking it would be a long hard job an was about to pay someone to do it but after seeing you show the full removal I'm definitely confident I can do it. An thanks cause mines a 3.2 which from what I hear is rare an not to many ppl Kno much about them
@samhartman5676 The 3.2L is based on the 3.6L pentastar motor. The 3.6 faces forward for a rear wheel set up, the 3.2L is sideways for front wheel drive. There are less 3.2L's but there are not that many differences in the engine. Glad you are trying something new, this isn't a hard job to try. Best of luck, if you run into an issue, let me know.
I undid a few clips. Most of them, the safety clip pushes back and the clip for the plug lifts off either with a flat screw driver or has a release tab to push on. I also have other videos on this where i worked in this area. The video for the spark plugs shows a lot of this in greater detail.
