When learning to ride switch, I often have the tedency to turn to 50/50 or 180 on the way out (like my body subconsciously wants to go to its dominant and safe stance) Is it just a matter of focusing on holding the back leg outwards? Or any other tips for practising consistency in switch riding?
Yes that’s completely normal like you said because it just feels „safer“ for your body and mind. It’s just a lot of practice and you really need to force yourself to stay in switch position. Try to let go the rear hand and really focus on keeping your hip (of your switch side) forward and don’t bring your rear shoulder forward which makes you turn 180. This should help in staying in switch position 💪
Hi Julia! How du you do the full pull so easily? I often get pulled off the feature way too early. I find it very hard to get juuuust the right edge for every feature. Any tips maybe? Thanks :-)
