IPhone X is closed later in the water, it has been cleaned with spray cleaning. After that, it was able to restart it. If you look at my entire video then you can do it. And if anybody has any complaint then write down in the comment box.

At the :54 mark, he showed the red wetness indicator...that's normally white but turn red when liquid goes into the phone. (And, later, you can see him drying out liquid that's behind some components.) I believe the spray was just an isopropyl alcohol electronics cleaner. If the screen doesn't pry up easily, you can blow hot air all around the edge to help with that.

Update on our iPhone X Max that had water damage....after taking it apart and buying two sets of tools to take apart, dry, and put back together, the phone still works but screen, still, black. Ended up buying a replacement XR for $600.....sucks. Do NOT get your iPhones wet, folks.

What tools did you use? Can you write down the steps you did? Is that isopropyl alcohol which you used for the cleaning of the logic board?

Please can you confirm the spray used for logic board cleaning. I really need to use it.

I'm assuming it was isopropyl alcohol as that is the chemical used to clean the logic board on water damaged iphones normally. Not too sure about this model of iphone though. 99% isopropyl alcohol works well with all the iphones up to the 6s I believe as I have successfully used it on them, so I don't see why it wouldn't work on this X phone

Hi Guys !! My i phone X has the same water damage so i visited the apple service center. They r providing replacement only. So i visited one local mobile repair shop. He quoted me 22000 expense . He told me that display is short circuit. Other IC are also short circuit. What should i do??? Please help.. please

I have same issue with my iPhone , and It can't be fixed by the service center of apple here in the philippines . how it can damage the wate proof iphone ? WTF ! and they want a replacement of a unit but I have to pay 40K like WTF ! I hope your video can help me . thanks

Paul Macas just to let you know that no phone is waterproof. That’s why there is a manufacture rating on the water resistance. The company is not responsible for your dumb choice to take your $1000 iPhone X into water
