honestly this was really helpful not just for any photos but this made me feel better about myself through my photo taking skills and how i looked in those photos thank you!
But it’s true, pretty and photogenic are two different things. I have one friend who is a 10/10 irl and looks weird in almost all pictures, and another friend that looks way better in photos then in real life - I honestly don’t know how this works but I’ve taken pictures of her and it’s true she looks like a better version of herself in every picture before it’s even edited ☠️
how do you have a real smile for pictures like any tips lol? Bc whenever a camera is pointed at me the fake smile just comes out and I’m to akward to really smile idk how 😭😭
@@Hazel-lb3ps Exactly! I understand too because I can never "smile" in a picture. It's always fake or forced. I'm only going to real smile when I'm very happy and taking pictures is awkward for me so it's never a real smile.
If your confidence is based on how you or others look on photos it is rather shallow. Shouldnt you be confident in who you are and not what others percieve you to be?
@@andreizhdanovich2939 thats up to you how you wanna look, the point is that your confidence shouldnt be affected by others seeing it or not. If you dislike your looks or wanna express something by it, do it, but dont do it because other people made you feel like it

I’ve even heard photographers Speak on this. There are beautiful people who don’t take good pictures and there are people who you couldn’t pick out from a crowd who are so photogenic.

Once I was carrying and playing with my besties little brother (3 yo) and she clicked a picture, it was accidental, and once I paused a video in which I was similing while singing a song (literally got a crush on myself). Those are my best photos, no forced smile, just natural one, without effort. Loved them sm
I agree. Some beautiful people I know aren't photogenic while others not known to be beautiful are photogenic. I wonder what it actually is. My theory is that if people are truly genuine with whatever they are feeling, they would be photogenic.

I find myself always walking around with my neck forward which is so bad for my posture and neck too probably but hey at least I can look good in candid photos??
Easy to say being the hottest person. You don't really understand that ugly people do exist and nothing can help them be photogenic, you can not deny it.
When your so attractive in real life but the iPhone camera doesn’t want the best for you so they create flaws in your face that doesn’t even exist making me appear unattractive on photos/online people I know get so shocked how it doesn’t do justice to me just sucks knowing I’ll never be able to show anyone a nice photo of me like what’s the point of shining in real life if you can’t have a photo memory of it😭 this is why I’m still single since 14 years old I’m 21 now
If your not photogenic your not photogenic if your not beautiful your not beautiful just accept it and stop getting lied to by skinny girls online who only care about their view count.
