Ordered an SSD, it didn't work, checked the connections twice and then thrice. Nothing was working. After an hour, I decided to watch this video as it was taunting me on the Google search page. Of all things, for it to have been because the other side of the cable wasn't plugged in... 😂 It works now, and you helped with confusion of initializing and allocating, you get a thumbs up and a sincere heart felt thank you 😊
Super simple to follow on. I just completed building my very 1st PC in over a decade since my last one. Figuring out how to add an additional SSD through your video really saved the amount of time trying to understand. Cheers!
Just got an SSD today and this tutorial really helped with the installation and setup for it, thanks for the help and keep making videos like that that can help people that are doing this for the first time.
Dude, I just bought this same PC, case and all, and I had no idea how to hook up my GPU. This video not only helped me figure out how to install 2.5ssd, but also how to get my GPU going! Thank you!
You just saved my day! I was about to return my SSD... Had no idea I had to allocate and isntall and all those things! You, Sir, deserve more likes! Thanks a lot for this video!
Thanks man I struggled with my Sata for hours thinking it was the power cable or something but with your help I managed to finaly install it. Thanks again for doing a full guide!
This was so clutch man…I was in a never ending cycle of clearing up 200gb of space by uploading to my cloud drive to work on 2 videos at a time. Finally just installed an additional 2TB SSD thanks to this video
Had no idea I was supposed to format and stuff was wondering why it didn't show up thought i did something wrong got yourself a sub simple and to the point
i just bought a pc from skytech and now you guys helping me again install the ssd i just bought . amazing pc and amazing help from this video i will recommend you guys to anyone asks
A simple and well made video was very helpful. Thanks for showing every part of the process definitely saved me some frustration in trying to initialize
Excellent video, very comprehensive and covers all the details you might need. Very well made, got my new drive installed and working after forgetting how I did it years ago.
Thank you so much dude, im looking to buy a second drive and saw someone online mention the disk management software which made me lose confidence and be affraid it wasnt going to work, now i have my confidence back!
Had no idea it was this simple. I was getting ready to contact the company I bought my prebuilt from for help. I thought those four holes in the case were for some kind of SSD holder that they forgot to send along with the PC lol thanks a lot for this guide.
Amazing found out that in the process of building my pc 2 years ago me and my dad never activated the 2T hard drive either. So now I have 4T of free space to use up.
Really helpful, I was wondering wtf was a SATA cable and what it was for! And yes, I just built my first PC so boo hoo if I didn't know wth SATA was xD
this was soo helpfull when i first installed it the ram was acting up and then the graphics card was acting up i dont know why but ya but this was helpfull and my pc is acting good now
Thanks Zach It was definitely helful. You're awesome bro! Something that would be even more helpful would be if you could please do a similar video on this channel showing us steps in how exactly you setup your custom MSIAfterburner for the main channel videos. Also, it looks like on the desktop in this video, you have Afterburner and then a separate instance of it. I'm assuming you simply click that seperate instance marked 'setup' and it automatically sets it to how you want it so you don't have to do it manually set it up every single video. I really would appreciate seeing how you do that as well. thanks! peace.
@@PCBrosTechplease do it. please show exactly how you set up afterburner for the main channel videos and how you have a second Afterburner icon on the desktop labeled 'setup', like I said, assuming that's a one click afterburner icon so you dont have to manually set it up every single video. please show how you do that as well. thanks so much for considering doing this.
That was my first time using that camera. The settings were all changed because we shared that one in the office at the time. I am not very good at camera settings on a camera that I am not used to. Blur is annoying for sure, but hopefully you still found it helpful.
I just installed one of those, it was a 1tb SSD via SATA (same as in the video). Once it fills to about 90gb it starts running like a bag of sh1t, takes almost an hour to transfer 1gb of data to it.
For people seen this use the straight sata cause the corner one has to go from the inside position and we don't want to break anything trying 😅, other than that great help bro
Hey, the cble that goes to the power supply, I don't have one of those. Where can I find one for my Samsung SSD. I have the Sata Cable for my mother board but no cable from my power supply
Very helpful. Thank you. Only question, if I keep some saved games on the stock drive, do I need to transfer that data to the new drive or will the computer understand where the data is if I just fire something up
