What hose connects under the coolant resovior??? Mine is pissin out coolant lol

i have same car as you. Wife broke down on side of road engine overheating and there was no coolant. Been filling it up all week and just completely leaks out same day. Any suggestions?

Good Afternoon, I currently drive a 2015 Chevy Trax LT car myself. I recently had my dealership topped off my anti-freeze reservoir completely at the top and after a week's worth of driving, I've popped the hood and noticed my reservoir is nearly empty again. I've made sure to check under my car for any antifreeze pooling as well as the engine for leaks and all appears clear from what I can tell. Is it normal for an anti-freeze reservoir to react this way? I've also notice that if I release the pressure valve cap, some of the antifreeze starts returning back into the reservoir but not all that it was initially topped off with. I'm curious if this is actually be design or if there's any issues with my cooling system. Any additional information about that would be useful.

Lately I had to add coolant on a weekly basis, I dont have any leaks under, I dont think this is normal, any answers?

i have a 2015 trax. everytime i fill the resovoir it goes back down to about an inch within a few days and just stays there, there's no leak on the ground or on the inside of vehicle. there's no antifreeze in the oil and no steam coming out the exhaust. i don't know where the antifreeze is going, i do have a smell of it on the outside of the vehicle when its hot. the resvoir cap is different from a radiator so i cant pressure check it.

Is it normal If you put the coolant in and it goes low after a short while but you dont see ant sign of a leak. Do you have to just keep adding more until it doesn't go down?

You just added a large amount of pure concentrate to the system, rather than 50/50, so now the system is overcharged with coolant. You should be adding 50/50, not some water "if there is room."

Do you have to flush before you add coolant?

You put too much in there is a very small line where it should be when it’s cold and just a little bit above that a large line with arrows pointing to it that’s where it should be when it’s hot Looks like U went past both lines you should have filled it to the very small bottom line
