@@ErinLawrenceTV I just wish I'd seen your review before I'd bought it. Did you get the swap you wanted from Nespresso? I'm considering sending mine back as well.
Useful video. Certainly more information than the official company site. However can't help feeling the lack of a visual display/ led readout of amount of water dispensed is detrimental.
Just what I was looking for! I just started using a random machine in my work break room and had no idea about this programming or barcodes. I was trying to use it like a Keurig 😂
I received a Vertuo Plus for Christmas and I was mad cause the water level is too much; I prefer strong/expresso types but around 4-5 ounces. Thanks for this tip; I will do this for my machine and hopefully this will work for me; thanks.
I have a Breville Vertuo machine (no next or plus) and it came with the sample box. I used the alto pod and it worked no problem, but when I look at the Nespresso website it says that the alto does not work with my machine. The flavor that I had for the Alto is not one of the alto pods for sale, but still according to the website it shouldn't have worked on my machine. Do you know anything more about this?
My nespresso vertuo next machine isn’t working Its having these error lights and Its not letting me brew a cup of coffee so i’m getting a new one on thursday my dad bought be the vertuoplus can’t wait to get it thanks for sharing
How about if you instead of pressing the buttom once, you press it twice within 2 seconds? I’m asking because those are the instructions on the Nespresso app and when I do that I get less coffee but it’s supposed to come out “more dense”. When I tap it just once I get more coffee but it fills my cup too much where there is not enough room for my milk. Suggestions?
@ErinLawrenceTV Hi I just bought the Nespresso Virtuo Lattissima by DeLonghi and it’s like the coldest coffee I’ve had in my life. Are there not Temperature options for Nespresso machines? Wish I had known this before I bought it.
I was also surprised by this. I read that the coffee temperature is supposed to be drinking temperature so you don't have to wait for it to cool. But it is also too cold for me.
does topping up more water by this method dilute the coffee too much? Is there a better 'size' pod to start with, to get closer to a 9 oz cup of coffee without it being too watery?
Yes, I just had that problem early when I first got my machine I was upset at not getting a full mug. I thought "nesapresso coffee machine" did not realise it stands for Nestle Espresso. Even Starbucks drops a Espresso shot into water or milk. I had set my machine to add too much water . I just factory reset my round head vertuo as per her directions. Ran same used pod prior to reset and it was a full 16 oz mug , then after reset same pod , I got the 2.5 oz of water the capsule specifies . I'd rather have coffee shop quality coffee and use the larger sized capsules for more coffee . That way I'm getting my full disc's worth. You can hit the button again for double the water . I regret having set the 14oz of water on my 2.5 oz capsules lol
