I will admit I haven’t completely taken to my Nespresso and I suspect I’m not using it right. This looks delicious!! Take care and stay safe. Love, Melissa
Hey lovely Melissa, Happy New Year! It takes getting use too for some, I don't think my mother has taken too it either, she prefers filter coffee so I totally know what you mean : ) Thank you and I hope things get better over there! Much love always xoxo Shaz
@melissa55 Its taken me time too! I love the creativity of using different pods and flavors and the whole process but to be honest sometimes I still prefer the taste of fresh brewed coffee and even think sometimes I wish I would have gotten a traditional espresso machine to have a fresher brew. We have a ninja coffee maker I use during the week for regular coffee but use the Nespresso on the weekends when I want more of a specialty coffee. Sometimes it’s so good and other times i think it’s over hyped. I had a less expensive espresso machine several years ago. I liked it but it was a lot to clean after each use and time consuming letting the machine warm up. Now I would be willing to spend a bit more and there are more options.
I just made this for myself this morning in my new Nespresso Vertuo and I love it. So good and tasted just like a Starbucks latte. I’d love any more drink recipes or tips and tricks!
I just got a new Nespresso as my Christmas present from my daughter can't wait to make me a latte like this. Yummy!! Thank you for sharing, and Merry Christmas from Canada!😊
If you’re ever in M&S, pick up some of their sweetened almond milk (they do a non-sweetened too but it’s not as nice IMO) it’s the best one I’ve found out of all of them. It sells out like crazy though, leaving the non-sweetened one on the self! Hugs X
Hi there! Is there a noticeable difference between French vanilla (I read it’s imported directly from Madagascar) and regular vanilla? Just wondering out of curiosity. Thanks!
I believe that to fill to the top mark one must remove the spring from the spinner thingy (technical name for it!). Maybe if not using cow's milk it doesn't froth up as much, but if you don't remove the frothing spring watch for overflows.
I just made my first latte with my machine , how long do use use the aerocinno when making up the milk? I filled it to max, let it run till it was touching the lid but it was pretty much cold when I poured it in. Thanks
It should be hot! I just made a hot chocolate with mine yesterday! You press the button it goes red, If you hold it too long it turns blue which gives you cold milk. It stops automatically when it’s done.
thanks for posting this! just got my vertuo and excited to try out this recipe! Just wondering, when you froth the milk, do you have the spring in the aeroccino or do you remove it before using?
I received mine today but it doesn’t have a Nespresso logo on the lid. I can see yours does have it. Is it normal not to have one? I ordered it directly from Nespresso’s website. Also, I order it in the same colour as you but mine looks more cream in person not white or off white. Not sure what’s going on.
Just got my Virtuo and found your videos. Keep 'em coming! One question, for this vanilla latte, why wouldn't you just use a vanilla coffee creamer as opposed to the vanilla syrup and almond milk? Genuinely asking because I am trying to figure out what I like and how to use this machine. Thank you from Arizona, USA!
Super late response, but for anyone else wondering- coffee creamer is just for adding a splash into a cup of coffee. For a latte, you use espresso which is 1 oz vs a regular cup of coffee which is about 8 oz. If you were to brew your espresso and add creamer instead of milk, you would have to use a TON of creamer. Which is an insane amount of calories, fat, and sugar for a cup of coffee. And it would likely be way too sweet to even drink 🙂
@@aliciavilas5411 it doesn't say that it's sweetened but it tastes sweet if that makes sense. It's the brand Rude Health. If you are adding vanilla syrup I wouldn't get the sweetened almond milk x
I just bought the nespresso vertuo next. I’m a newbe. The most confusing thing is which pod to use. I bought it at Costco and it came with the aerochino 3 and a bunch of sample coffees. So now after watching this video im confused. For small latte you said double espresso chiaro pod but for larger one you say Ethiopia 150ml and then say it doesn’t matter what you use. That’s confusing . But great video otherwise.
I tried to copy this video to make a Latte. I didn’t have the correct pod or the milk frother. I warmed up the almond and used Melozio but only out 150 ml of water. But I put the almond milk in the cup before the coffee and there wasn’t enough room in the cup for all the coffee so when it got full, I put a different cup to catch the remaining. But it tasted pretty darned good after adding another two tsp of vanilla syrup.
