HOW TO ADJUST EVOLVE BELT TENSIONS 

Nice, so grateful for this, glad to know how to fix the skipping when breaking.

So I did my belt replacement today. I followed this video to a tee and it worked out great. For context: i was out on a ride and one of my belts just snapped out right. Not a big deal, just put it in eco mode and rode cautiously. I put in through Fed Ex two belt replacements and then feverishly rewatched this video. A nuance, dare I say trick, is to remove one side completely, Then just take off the belt cover on the opposing side for reference. When they say 5mm for street this is attainable by eye. I am willing to bet your previous tech had an eye for this. I say this in confidence because I fiddled to much with exact location with the belt. this video literally shows you the "give" you need in a replacement installment. while installing if you're worried about the belt brushing up against the trucks, fear not, when you place the belt, gear, and then wheel alignment is attained. Please truly consider their test drive, look for sounds, clicks, inconsistency : this is user installment error. You can do this, enjoy those concrete waves!

Just tensioned a loose belt on my 18 month old gtr evolve all terrain after watching this video, it's easy after watching the video.

A simple motor tensioning tool would be great and would take all the guess work out. Just a plastic tool that goes on the real axel and pushes the motor out too the correct distance for different drive gears. A different tool for each gear. Please🙏🏻😅

Why is there no video for GTR off-road belt tension?

Loose as poss without slipping, makrs sense way less strain on motor shaft bearings too

How do you do this with AT wheels? The wheels cover the motor tension bolts?

Anyone have any vids or pics with what exactly a "slipping belt" looks like? Just got a Carbon GTR and wanted to put a bash guard kit on it which will require removing the motor.

That is way too sloppy. Pulling the motor does not apply enough tension. That way the belt will end up slipping.
