Steps:
If you don't have a Besta cabinet at home, you can buy the frames without the doors, for just $60 from IKEA, which makes this a zero-waste makeover. Once you've assembled the Besta, it's time to add Norse Interiors components. The IKEA hinges are already included in with the cabinet frame, so all you need is your custom Norse Interiors door.
1) Begin with the pre-assembled IKEA Besta.
2) A tip is to start by picking the hinges apart, which might sound counterintuitive but trust me. Simply loosen this screw and pull the two pieces apart. Then you add this part to the frame, using the top and bottom holes, and add this part to the door. This will make it a lot easier to attach the door.
3) The next tip is to lay the cabinet down, if you don’t have someone to give you a helping hand. Simply slide the door part of the hinge into the part that’s already attached to the frame. Make sure that it’s resting flat against each other. Tighten the screw.
4) Pushing the screw further into the metal socket will allow you to move the cabinet front closer to the cabinet frame, making it an even distance.
5) Use the 3 screws to adjust the height, depth, and width to create a leveled appearance.
And voila - the credenza is finished!
If you want to add knobs or pulls to the cabinet as a final finish; Always drill from the outside in and place a piece of firm material on the inside to drill into.
