How to adjust the needle depth 

HI EC 17 is the color changing overtime. I'd check the color motor as well as the sensor. Make sure there is no obstruction on the color changing mechanism as well. Make sure the computer is also reading a needle on the screen and is aligned with the actual head.

Must be the 3v - CR2032 battery. That keeps the memory paramters.
