Just bought a 214ce after playing an Academy 12e at the store. The 12e felt like playing an electric because of the low action. My only fear with upgrading to a 214ce was losing some playability, but your demonstration put me at ease. Thanks!

I believe the 3 bolts at the headstock are called screws.

Baby Taylor truss rods are at the sound hole end of the neck.

You need some help with figuring out the difference between nuts and bolts.

How much your guitar?

Just make sure that long ruler isn’t resting on your bridge, as shown in this example. That’s definitely going to give you a wonky result. Also, when checking with your fingers, specify to depress the string where the *body meets the neck* as well as the first fret. It does “matter up there”.
