It is difficult to set a clear specification, the thread tension will depend on many factors, such as thread type (cotton thread, Nylon thread, bonded polyester threads etc), leather type and leather needle type. You just need to adjust the needle thread tension and bobbin thread tension, to reach the best balance. Usually easy to get thread tension balance on heavy material, and not easy to get balance when stitch thin leather by thick thread. If you need any help, please contact our local dealer. Many reasons may cause skipped sttich, for example: Lost timing, Thread tension is too tight, Needle is bent or burred , Needle is wrong size, Needle and thread does not match, Thread take-up lever has not been threaded, Light pressure on presser foot , Incorrect setting of needle, Material overlapped (cross seams/transversal seams, thickness of material changed suddenly)
